This 3BR/2BA home is located in the historic district of the Mattapoisett center. It's 1 block to the wharf, a 2 blocks to the library and a 5 blocks to the town beach. It also backs up to Center School's basketball courts, tennis/pickleball courts and playground. By car, you are 15 minutes from New Bedford, a town known for its fishing, whaling and seafood industries. In New Bedford, you can also grab a ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket for the day. Boston is also an hour drive away.

Our group of 4 met at the house located a block from buzzard bay and a nice short walk to the Inn. The house had a great selection of rooms both up & downstairs. 4-5 bikes available in garage, which we rode all around town. When raining we cooked a big meal & enjoyed watching football from lazyboy couch. Just like home. Host was very responsive and helpful, thanks Katy.

We were delighted with this charming beach house. The town was like a step back into time. Although there were many other houses it was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the close walk to the swimming beach and the little ice cream slip by the docks.We came hoping to do some crabbing and the host went above and beyond to give us instructions on her experience. Although we didn't have any luck with the crabs we ordered live lobsters from the local sea market and the kitchen was equipped to handle the job. I gave this place a 5 star rating because it made the perfect back drop to a memorable family experience we will always cherish.
