We appreciate the feedback, but we need to set the record straight for anyone reading this review. First, we sincerely apologize for the golf cart issue. It was a mechanical failure, and we were in the process of replacing it. It is an optional add on rental but that was not communicated clearly in the property description which we have also corrected. Because the guest had not asked to rent it, we did not communicate that it was at the shop. That was a legitimate frustration, and we own it completely. We gave the guest a refund for what they would have paid and a full apology. However, we want to be clear about the other claims made in this review. We performed a full inspection of the property both before this guest's arrival and immediately after their departure. Here is what we actually found: Refrigerator: It was never turned off. It was running and cooling properly at the correct temperature. Showers: all were functioning normally with adequate water pressure. Roach infestation and garbage smell: We thoroughly inspected the entire property, including the stairwell, and found zero evidence of roaches or any garbage odor. Our home is professionally cleaned before every guest arrival and pest control is done on a regular schedule. It appears that frustration over the golf cart may have colored the rest of this review. We take valid complaints seriously, and we have addressed the issue with the golf cart. But we stand by the condition of our home and the results of our inspections.
