Amazing host that's very accommodating, communicative, and friendly.Ended up staying in two separate units.Location was so quiet. Good shower pressure, comfy pillows, plenty of towels, nice welcome binder for guests.Perfect for budget minded travelers that want convenience (10min or less) to a busy/noisy city.I gave 4 and not 5 for check in bc I followed VRBO initial instructions initially and they were incomplete, causing a delay....until I read another msg. There was an additional msg with further, very detailed info and had no problems. My only recommendation is having a thicker blanket available for those who don't like AC like their husband does I'm glad I brought a fuzzy throw. We plan to return next March!
We loved staying here, good neighborhood while still being close to downtown. The owners were great and very helpful. Told us about some sites to see and food to eat. I would stay there again.

Thanks for staying with us. I hope you didn’t consume too many calories while in Nola.
Nice, quiet out of the way spot. Easy access/driving to Bourbon St. perfect place to rest.
Enjoyed our visit to LA! Went to a concert and toured Bourbon St. area, plantations and WWII museum. Property was a perfect place to rest after busy days.
Everything was perfect and shown as listed! Very clean and nice for a small family trip to stay. Also has a nice patio with a fenced in yard for your fur baby. It’s perfect for when you want to stay out of French quarter but close enough for you to go!
Nice location, very easy to get in and out. Mike was very helpful in sharing knowledge of some local places to eat and enjoy our time in New Orleans. Will stay here again if we come back.

Hey Pete! Thanks for kind words! Thanks for staying with us. MM
Ended up using a patio chair inside so we could both sit comfortably - I realize there was limited space. Handles on fridge should be moved to right side since it doesn’t open all the way it would be more convenient to open towards kitchen not the hall. And it can be done on that model. Maybe lamp in sitting area ceiling lights were so bright and without it was pretty dark. It was a very quiet place to stay and felt completely safe.
We are originally from St. Bernard Parish and rented this location for a family funeral. We traveled with our son and his family and our Pomeranians. Perfect location to visit NOLA as well as friends on the Northshore and Picayune,MS. Kitchen was well stocked and the fenced yard was a big plus for our pups. Planning on renting in the future for return trips home.
Great place! We only needed a place to shower and sleep… so we didn’t care about the mini kitchen. Ubers were an easy ride to FQ and JS. Michael was very responsive and helpful. Listen to his restaurant picks! Felt very safe. Comfortable beds. Great shower. It had everything we needed.
Michael, owner here was great to work with . He was available and supportive of our inquiries. Property clean , with all necessary things . Would highly recommend Michael and this property!!
It was a cute little apartment but I was planning on having the fridge pictured but it had a small dorm fridge. The walls are paper thin also. It was clean and the patio was very nice.

We have been to New Orleans many times before but this was the first time staying at this property. But it certainly won't be the last. They are definitely friendly folks, and bend over backwards to accommodate their guests. A great place to stay for any type of traveler. Julien

Thanks for staying with us Clinton. I hope anyone that reads your review will look at ALL THE OTHER GOOD REVIEWS. Thanks again for staying with us. happy holidays.
We were in the patio for 3 days and it has cute small rooms. Be aware that the “kitchen” is actually in the main bedroom closet. Basically it’s the main bedroom, bathroom and a second bedroom/living. We moved from there do to loud neighbors and Michael/Miranda were super responsive and offered us the cottage to stay in.
We moved into the cottage and stayed there the rest of the time and it is a larger bedroom-with bathroom & laundry room in bedroom, full kitchen and living room. Both are well kept and worked great for my mom and I.

Very sorry but the listing was incorrect and I just corrected it from having a kitchen to only having a kitchenette. When VRBO updates their site it sometimes makes willy nilly changes to listings. And the owner does not know this until a guest brings it to their attention. Thanks again for staying with us.
Property very nice. Rooms clean. Only thing I ready didn't expect. No kitchen. Only toaster, coffee maker & small refrigerator. Other guess had access to kitchen. So if you rent this part of the house , you will need to eat out. Beautiful outdoors. Very Safe. Close to downtown area.
Thank you will book again.
