Michele was a great host with great communication skills. She checked in regularly and gave us local tips as well. The space itself was cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our three night stay.

The space was a charming historic spot. Very clean with extra linens available. Several different kinds of coffee makers available to meet everyone’s different preferences. Communication with the host was wonderful and constant.
This was a Gem of a property and location. Located in a lovely neighborhood with plenty of great places for food, coffee, tea, and cocktails within walking distance. The French Quarter is also within walking distance. Will next to book this one again, next trip back to NOLA
This little gem gleams. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to a variety of eating and drinking spots, from upscale fare to dive bars. The beautiful backyard is a relaxing retreat from city bustle and the comfortable interior has all the amenities we could ask for. So glad we rented this jewel, whose hosts are impeccable.
We loved this sweet space! It was clean and fresh but had all the character and patina that you hope to experience in an old historic place like New Orleans! And the location is great! You feel like a local, but all of the "main attractions" are within walking distance! We discovered lots of wonderful dining places in the neighborhood as well! You can't go wrong with this charming little home!

We’re so happy you enjoyed your stay in our space! Thanks for choosing our cottage. Welcome back anytime.
Stayed here with my wife for a long weekend. Perfect for a couple, charming, comfortable and well appointed. Love the neighborhood, it’s quiet but close enough to everything. We had a car and never had a problem finding street parking, but most everything we wanted to do was within walking distance of the property. The host was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Thank you Matt! It was our pleasure hosting you & your wife. You’re welcome back anytime. So glad you enjoyed your stay.
We loved staying in this lovely and comfortable cottage for two and so will you. You can expect gracious hospitality and lovely neighbors. The backyard is enchanting, especially at night. There are many terrific food options in the neighborhood including a grocery store, all within a few blocks. We loved the almond croissants from Jasmine at Zoe’s Bakery in City Market. After three weeks here we still were not ready to leave. See you again, Michelle and thank you.

Thank you both again! It was a pleasure hosting you both! Welcome back anytime!
The accomodations was just as described in the listing. It was cute, had everything you would need and the neighborhood was very quiet even on Friday and Saturday nights. The property was clean and the fenced back yard was nice especially while enjoying some coffee. There is a little coffee shop just 2-3 houses down that had great breakfast and baked goods. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting NOLA.
Michele was a wonderful host. She responded promptly to all of my questions and provided great recommendations for places to go in the neighborhood. She checked in via text during my stay to see if I needed anything while giving me lots of space. I loved the decor and furnishings, and the private courtyard in back was the perfect place to relax with a cool drink after a busy day. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and it is a 15 minute walk or less to grocery stores, bike rentals, coffee shops, amazing restaurants and a major busline to the French Quarter and downtown. If you like music, Frenchmen Street is lined with clubs and just a few streets away. I would recommend this cottage to anyone traveling to New Orleans who wants a comfortable and charming place to stay while experiencing another side of the city.

Thanks for choosing to stay with us Pele! We appreciate you leaving the space tidy. We hope you’ll come back and visit us on future visits!
My husband and I were very comfortable here for our first visit to NOLA. Michele was a perfect host, very responsive to our questions and requests! The cottage is just as described. Super clean, easy check in and out. Fun antique decor with special touches throughout. Multiple spices, condiments, coffee available in the home. The bed is comfy with soft linens and fluffy towels. We also enjoyed relaxing on the patio after a day of sightseeing! Just a short walk to the French Quarter, Bourbon St. and the Riverwalk. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend for a great time in NOLA!
This rental is very nice and clean. If cooking is your thing you'll find just about everything you could need to create a meal from spices and oils to pots/pans/utensils and serving platters (except a microwave) and you can eat it all in the lovely courtyard. There is a very nice grocery store about 2 blocks away. The bathroom was a great size and the water pressure is very nice. If you are a larger person you may struggle with some of the spaces in the house but overall the space was comfortable and nicely decorated. Location is the best and you can easily walk into frenchman and the quarter.
This is my first VRBO property rental and it did not disappoint!
Let me start by saying our host Michele, was awesome. Not only was she really attentive but she was also very understanding. I had a little issue with my Dog and she helped me calm down and really enjoy my stay. She was also really thorough with house rules and I really appreciate that.
The Studio. It was such an amazing cottage. When we got there I can't help but think of all the history it's seen. If you're looking for a huge space this may not be for you. But me, my partner and my dog were just fine with the space. It is well stocked with supplies and things you might need. My favorite part is the small garden space out back. You can have your coffee and or read a book.
Now while all of the above are strong selling points for this property, I made the choice of booking this because of the promised location. It is really close to the FQ, unfortunately I didn't time our walks, I got distracted looking at all the history around us. Even if you didn't want to go to the FQ, you are always close to a cafe, restaurant or a bar.
We will definitely rebook if we get another chance!
We were recently repeat guests at the Garden Marigny Cottage and loved it just as much as before! So many special touches and amenities from our wonderful host Michele. Everyone in the neighborhood is super friendly. We will be back again at some point, I am sure!
