The holiday rental is located on the top floor (2nd floor) of a well-maintained two-family home in a prime location right by the lake in Schwerin. The house, built on the Krösnitz peninsula that juts into Ostorfer Lake, combines peaceful tranquility and village charm with very short walks to the bus (approx. 4 min) and tram (approx. 5 min), which allow you to reach any destination in the state capital of Schwerin in just a few minutes. You can also take a walk along Ostorfer Lake and explore Schwerin’s city centre—with its extensively renovated historic district, theatre, museums, famous castle, and many excellent restaurants—in about 15 minutes. The Schwerin Castle Park is a 5-minute walk away.
A bike path runs just about 100 metres from the house, allowing you to reach many local and distant destinations by bike. We recommend bike rides through the beautiful lake landscape surrounding Schwerin or to Zippendorfer Strand, which is located on Lake Schwerin—one of Germany’s largest inland lakes. The beautifully designed Schwerin Zoo is about a 20-minute walk away and offers entertainment and surprises for adults and children alike in every season.
The holiday rental, featuring sloped ceilings, has a floor area of 31.5 m². It has been newly and modernly furnished with attractive furniture and a new kitchen. The apartment is equipped in such a way that self-catering is easily possible. The apartment includes a small shower room, built-in closets, and an entryway that can be used to store luggage and similar items. In a separate room on the ground floor, a washing machine and an electric clothes dryer are available upon request and by arrangement with the landlord. Guests are welcome to unwind in the evening with a glass of wine on a small, private terrace attached to the house, or to enjoy breakfast there. Smoking is permitted here.
Four bicycles (3- to 7-speed gears) are available to borrow free of charge.
Luggage can be unloaded and loaded in the courtyard. Ample free parking is available in the immediate vicinity.
Since the stairs are quite steep, the apartment is not recommended for guests with mobility impairments.
