This comfortable, modernly furnished holiday apartment—privately rented and managed by the owner—awaits you in a well-maintained two-family home in a quiet yet centrally located residential area of Schwerin.<br>Whether for a short getaway or a business trip, the apartment and its excellent location offer all the amenities you need to explore and enjoy the state capital or the wonderful lake- and forest-rich surroundings from here.<br><br>The holiday rental is located on the top floor (2 stories) of a well-maintained two-family home in a prime location right by the lake in Schwerin. The house, built on the Krösnitz peninsula that juts out into Ostorfer Lake, combines peaceful tranquility with village charm, while offering very short walks to the bus (about 4 min) and tram (about 5 min), which allow you to reach any destination in the state capital of Schwerin in just a few minutes. You can also take a walk along Ostorfer Lake and explore Schwerin’s city centre—with its extensively renovated historic district, theatre, museums, famous castle, and many excellent restaurants—in about 15 minutes.<br>A bike path runs just about 100 m from the house, allowing you to reach many local and distant destinations by bike. We recommend cycling tours through the beautiful lake landscape surrounding Schwerin or to Zippendorfer Strand, located on Lake Schwerin—one of Germany’s largest inland lakes. The beautifully designed Schwerin Zoo is within walking distance (about 20 minutes) and offers entertainment and surprises for adults and children alike all year round.<br>The holiday apartment, featuring sloped ceilings, has a floor area of 27.5 m². It was newly furnished this year with attractive furniture and a new kitchen equipped with a dishwasher. The apartment is fully equipped to allow for self-catering. The apartment includes a small shower room, built-in closets, and an entryway that can be used to store luggage. If needed, a washing machine and an electric clothes dryer are also available in a separate room on the ground floor, subject to arrangement with the landlord. Guests are welcome to unwind in the evening with a glass of wine on a small, private terrace attached to the house, or enjoy breakfast there. <br>Two bicycles (3-speed) are available for rent for a small fee.<br>Luggage can be unloaded and loaded in the courtyard.
