About this property

New Lakefront Upper Saranac Lake Home, Winter or Summer, Sleeps Up To 20!

This beautiful and state-of the art 6,600 square foot home is located on the southern most point of Upper Saranac Lake on 5 acres, in a protected but large cove, 20 minutes from Lake Placid. It is wonderful for both Summer and Winter rental (See our video in this ad!). The house sleeps up to 20 people, has a large and beautiful great room with kitchen. We have recently added an outdoor hot tub, for up to 7 people that is near our fire pit for year round use. We also have a beautiful 24' Pontoon boat available which seats up to 14 people - please contact the owner about this if interested. If you should need a wedding or events coordinator, we can help there too! Among your activities:

Summer:

- 2 kayaks and a canoe

- Great swimming area at dock for young and old
- Bring your own boat of any size for water skiing, fishing, tubing, etc.
- Wonderful large deck for dining or late night cocktails with beautiful view of the lake, and a chat set with gas fireplace outside

- Private road great for biking, with mountain biking trails an easy bike ride away.

- Cross country ski on 60 acre meadow or on Upper Saranac Lake (usually frozen over from mid-December-March)

- We are only 40 minutes to Whiteface Mountain and 20 min to Lake Placid (excellent activities in Lake Placid also, home of the 1980 Olympics!)

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Comforter and shams to remain in rooms as they require different level of cleaning, only towels and linens to be placed in laundry room.
Ensure the hot tub is clean and free of clogs to avoid additional fee.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No bachelor or bachelorette parties. Windows and doors locked upon departure.
No RV’s of any type allowed on the property at any time without explicit agreement from the owners. Electric cars are not to be parked in garage.
All reservations are subject to owner's approval and renter's form of ID must be sent within 72 hours after booking.

This property is a classic Adirondack home. We have built it with pride and quality, from the mattresses you sleep on to the equipment in the kitchen to the technology throughout the house.

What makes this property unique

The house is very privately located, and is an easy 1/2 mile drive from the main road on a flat and maintained access road. While very private, it is also an easy drive to 3 different towns, including the wonderful village of Lake Placid. We are just 40 minutes to Whiteface Mountain also, so we are truly a property for the entire year 365 days of activities and enjoyment!
