We're Brian & Anita – adventure seekers, nature lovers, and your hosts! Brian is a Texas native, and Anita hails from Indiana, but these days you'll find us exploring the country together, always on the hunt for those hidden gems off the beaten path. From our adult children to our 13-year-old still at home, our whole family is bound together by a love of adventure.
Our happy place? Anywhere with mountains, water, and wide-open spaces. Whether we're boating on a quiet lake, catching a breathtaking sunset, or gathering around a bonfire under the stars, we're in our element outdoors, exploring the beauty of God's creation.

Throughout our travels across the US, Canada, and abroad, we've stayed in countless rentals – the good, the great, and the not-so-great. Those experiences taught us exactly what makes a stay truly special. That's why we created this space with one simple goal: to provide everything we'd want in a rental ourselves.

We love meeting new people and hearing about your adventures, and we're passionate about making sure your experience here is comfortable, relaxing, and memorable.

The Grand Canyon has been calling our names for years, and when we finally answered, we were absolutely captivated. Now we can't wait to share this extraordinary place with you – where jaw-dropping views are only 20 minutes away at the Grand Canyon, and the night sky explodes with stars right from our property. Whether you're looking to prepare gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen, catch up on work in the dedicated office space, float leisurely in the calm cove waters, unwind in the sauna after a day on the water, challenge friends to games on the mesmerizing Infinity table, or gather around the fire pit for stories under the stars, this lake house provides everything needed for an unforgettable vacation.

Self check-in with smart lock. Guests have access to the entire home except for the locked supply closet.

THE LAZY PADDLE GUIDELINES:
• Please check out by 10:00 AM so our team can prepare our home for the next guests to enjoy.
• No glitter — nearly impossible to remove; $500 fine applied automatically.
• No hair dye or dye products of any kind; evidence of dye results in a $500+ fine depending on damage.
• No piñatas, candles, sparklers, or open flames inside the home.
NO SMOKING
• Smoking of any kind inside the home is strictly prohibited, including vaping, cigarettes, and marijuana.
• Violation results in a $750 cleaning and ozone treatment fee plus immediate eviction.
PETS
• Maximum 2 pre-approved, low-shedding dogs only; no cats or other animals permitted.
• Pet fee: $125 per dog, due before check-in.
• Dogs must be on a leash outside, kept off all furniture and beds, and crated when left alone. No exceptions.
• Dogs that enter the lake must be fully hosed off before re-entering the home; excessive mud incurs additional cleaning fees.
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS
• Parties and events require prior host approval and are subject to special pricing. Violations may result in a $750 fine and immediate termination of your stay with no refund.
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM daily.
SAFETY AND SECURITY
• Exterior security cameras are installed on the outside of the property.
• Smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers are located throughout the home.
