Make yourself at home in this 4-bedroom charming lakefront house with 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed, and 1 twin bed. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and modern amenities like WiFi, AC, and heating. With 3 bathrooms equipped with hair dryers, your comfort is our priority. Use our kayaks to explore the lake. The sidewalk makes it easy to get to the dock, no steps! Enjoy the outdoors on the deck or patio. Make your vacation one for the books with a stay at our place. As of right now, because of a drought, a boat can not be tied up. kayaks are still usable. Make sure to check if you have a pet (under 50 lbs). Pet fee applies.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If kayaks were used, please return to dock shed, lock door and put key back in kitchen island drawer.
Return other items, like folding chairs, back to their designated spots.
There are a few additional details, see the check out checklist in the house manual.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
If outdoor griddle is used, please clean for next guests. All kayaks need to be stored in boathouse by the end of your stay.
Furniture in the house should not be moved around to prevent scratching of floors.
Basement bedroom is not suitable for children due to higher king sized bed. Use main floor guest bedroom.

This is a beautiful home and a great spot for our family. The games in the basement were a hit! The home is well stocked with linens and kitchen essentials and communication with Michelle was great.

We loved our stay at Lake Haven. The home had just about everything you could want. There were plenty of games, Roku, kayaks, etc to keep everyone entertained. The paved walkway to the dock was easy to maneuver. The host was very responsive.

Incredible house!

This house was incredible! Everything was exactly as described, very spacious, and incredibly clean! The short path down to the water along with the three kayaks made for lots of family fun. The house was set up with a number of games which we enjoyed (corn joke, foosball, chess, board games). Great communication with the host as well. Highly recommend!

Our group had a wonderful time staying at Lakehouse Haven! The house was very clean, which is a big priority for us. Michelle, the host, was very communicative and easy to work with. She even had a whole binder full of helpful information about the house and the area! The kitchen had everything we needed and the kids loved the game room downstairs! We spent a lot of time out on the lake, but it was nice to come inside at night to a clean, well organized space.

One of the most beautiful homes in Smith Mountain Lake. The owners are thoughtful, kind, and generous. This house included all the amenities our family needed and then some! They had plenty of board games, table tennis, air hockey, basketball and books during periods of rain. Our kids enjoyed taking the kayaks out and had a great time in the lake.The home was very clean, the accommodations very comfortable, and our host was very responsive! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is beautiful. The properties here are very nice. The whole are is quiet with serene nature. Smith Mountain Lake State Park is not far, with lots of great hiking and it's own beach.

What makes this property unique

The cathedral ceiling upon entering the home is just gorgeous. The whole house is designed very well. New windows to new couches make this place exceptionally cozy and comfy. The cove is perfect for peacefulness. Kayaking off the dock is a delight. The house is spacious and has just good vibes throughout. Surrounded by trees, birds, the lake and deer create the perfect outdoorsy feel when sitting on one of the decks or patio. If you don't want to be too far from shopping, restaurants and entertainment, this location is for you. But it's also far enough away from high traffic areas so that you enjoy tranquility.
