Welcome to the “Vechtestübchen” holiday home—your comfortable retreat in the waterfront city of Nordhorn. With a spacious 85 m² of living space, up to four people can enjoy a perfect combination of modern amenities, a relaxed, cosy atmosphere, and an attractive location near Lake Vecht.



Good to know:

The house is a smoke-free property; pets are not allowed. Electricity, gas, and water are already included. Bedding, towels, and firewood can be ordered upon request for an additional fee.

Additionally, upon booking, guests receive the digital Grafschaft Guest Card with attractive

discounts at numerous partners in the areas of leisure, culture, transport, and public transit.

A parking space is available free of charge.



The holiday home features two bedrooms, a bright living and dining area, a spacious spa-style bathroom, and an additional bathroom on the upper floor. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a comfortable box-spring bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and an additional TV; the second bedroom features a double bed measuring 1.60 x 2.00 m. A travel cot and high chair make the house especially family-friendly.



In the spacious living area, the fireplace ensures cosy evenings. A flat-screen TV with

satellite reception, free Wi-Fi, books, DVDs, and board games provide entertainment for relaxing holiday days. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a ceramic cooktop, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster, leaves little to be desired for self-catering.



A real highlight is the private wellness area: a sauna, whirlpool, walk-in shower, and

underfloor heating create the perfect conditions for relaxing after an active day. Insect screens on the windows provide additional comfort even during the summer months.



Outside, the Vechtestübchen also invites you to relax. On the terrace, furnished with high-quality

garden furniture and sun loungers, you can fully enjoy your holiday day. The house also features a garden and a lockable bike storage room—ideal for anyone who wants to explore Nordhorn and the surrounding area on two wheels. Free parking is also available.



The surrounding area offers numerous recreational activities: cycling, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, tennis, inline skating, and day trips are all possible, as are boat and canoe tours through Nordhorn’s canals. Vechtesee, the zoo, restaurants, shopping, parks, and playgrounds are also located nearby.
