Awesome host, beautiful cozy home. Close to Downtown Santa Barbara. Lots of food options and quiet neighborhood. Make sure you bring your own iron as there isn’t one available. All around great stay! The bed was super comfortable.
It’s an adorable little bungalow and a great location, very walkable to downtown area. It is a Duplex which isn’t mentioned until three paragraphs into the description. Somehow I missed this or forgot. You share a wall with neighbors so I’m sure they heard our crying kids at 6am just as we heard them moving chairs at 11pm. Still a great little spot!
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay! The house itself was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what I needed for my time in Santa Barbara. The only thing I would note for future guests is that the home is a duplex with a shared driveway, so you can definitely hear the neighbors at times, particularly from the back bedroom. The neighbors were very sweet, but there was quite a bit of conversation and activity that could be heard from that room.Parking was also a little inconvenient during my stay. Because the driveway is shared, I was asked to move my car, and then had to move it again early the following morning because the neighbors were hosting a birthday party. Obviously, that isn’t a reflection of the home itself, but it’s something worth keeping in mind if you’re driving and hoping to leave your car parked during your stay.Aside from that, I had a really nice experience and enjoyed the home. It’s a lovely place, and I appreciated having such a comfortable space while visiting Santa Barbara!
