Summary:
Start the day with ocean views and end it in the private hot tub with the surf as your soundtrack. Four bedroom suites sleep 8 in this fully remodeled Sea Ranch home about 300 yards from Shell Beach — with four desks and fiber internet for remote-work stints and a 65-inch family-room TV downstairs. A pet-free home.
The Space:
Just steps from Shell Beach, this hundred-percent remodeled Sea Ranch home pairs ocean views with a private hot tub — a NorCal getaway with room for the whole crew. The top floor holds the kitchen, dining, and living room where the views live; downstairs, a central family room with a 65-inch TV becomes movie-night headquarters, with complimentary YouTube TV, Netflix, and Disney+ through the Bahari House login.
The four bedrooms run in a suite layout (pun intended), and the home is quietly serious about remote work: four desks and fiber internet mean two couples or a multi-generation family can each carve out calls and quiet time without competing for space. A coffee bar, board games, and puzzles round out the common areas.
Evenings belong to the hot tub — ocean air, the famously dark Sea Ranch sky, and the surf as your soundtrack. Shell Beach is an easy few-minute walk (about 300 yards), the Sea Ranch Golf Links are 3 miles away, and your recreation pass opens the community pools, saunas, and courts. Mornings, take coffee to the top floor as the light moves across the water; in whale season (December through April), the horizon delivers spouts and breaches without you leaving the couch.

Other Things to Note:
Pet-free home -- no pets of any kind, please. Thank you for respecting this rule.
Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times.
Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast.
Whale watching season runs from December through April -- grab the binoculars and watch for gray whale spouts from your window. Spring (April-June) brings a wildflower show across the coastal meadows -- lupine, poppies, and iris paint the landscape. Summer (June-September) brings the warmest days and longest light. Morning fog is common along the coast -- it usually burns off by midday.
Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.
