We have stayed at the SunDestin for years and after this visit we will reconsider our options. It had been 3 years since we had come come back and it seems like this property has been “under construction” for years! First off check-in is at 4pm, we arrived at 4:10pm at the door and maid service is still cleaning. The room was dirty, the pillow shams were stained! It smelled humid the entire stay. The property was still “under construction” the jacuzzi was inoperable, the splash pad was non-existent and the bar-grill has definitely just a place holder. No one buy from there…. Definitely won’t be back. Location 5 stars! Everything else 2 stars! For the price there is better options.

Do not recommend staying in this unit. The ceiling of the bathroom had mold present in multiple areas. (Later found it also in the living area). When you would shower half the ceiling would be wet afterwards. There was an insane amount of rust on the shower curtain rod. They attempted to clean it off but there was still lots of rust left over even after the clean. They also attempted to help the “mildew” as they stated when reported to the host but it was still present after the “clean”. Very strong mildew smell throughout the entirety of the unit. Also, odd to have carpet in the bedroom. The splash pad advertised is not in use & has furniture covering it currently. The front entrance has ongoing construction. The gym was small & very limited. The treadmill was not functioning properly. There is so safety barriers between the beach access & the hotel or the parking lot & the condos besides the individual door code for the unit. The beach access was funky. A ramp was present to initially get to the walkway but then only stairs to get onto the beach directly with a step that appeared to be missing on the right side. The beach chair service (we’ve used in the past) was great per usual. The sand & water & beach itself was BEAUTIFUL- thankfully we spent 9hrs out of the condo daily. The dishes were very cheap & the pans seemed very old but usable.
