The Space:

This 700-square-foot (65 m²) loft spans two floors inside a restored building known as Casa Exterior, with one bedroom and two bathrooms sleeping up to three guests. The bedroom is dressed with a queen bed and its own ensuite bathroom, while the living area adds a sofa bed and a second bathroom — a flexible setup for a couple or a small family. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender and toaster, alongside a dining table and BBQ essentials for cooking in. Step out to the private terrace for city and mountain views over Quito's rooftops, a favorite spot to take in the Historic Center below.



Guest Access:

You'll have full access to the entire apartment, as well as the property's shared amenities and common areas.

The building is secured with a security door, and our host greets guests in person on arrival — we'll coordinate your arrival time with you a few days ahead of your stay.



The Neighborhood:

San Juan, in Quito's Historic Center, is a family-friendly, walkable neighborhood with a distinctly local, touristic feel — cafés, bakeries and family-run shops line the streets, alongside artisan crafts stalls and easy access to the area's museums and the landmark Basílica del Voto Nacional. It's a comfortable base for exploring one of South America's best-preserved colonial centers on foot.



Getting Around:

Quito's Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) sits outside the city in Tababela, roughly 35-45 minutes from the Historic Center by car — we recommend confirming exact timing with us closer to your trip, since this isn't a live route calculation. The neighborhood itself is highly walkable, with museums, cafés and shops all within easy reach on foot.

Arrival & Departure

- Check-in begins at 3:00 PM local time.

- Checkout is at 12:00 PM local time.

- To ensure a smooth arrival for incoming guests, please honor the checkout time.

- Unauthorized late checkouts will incur an additional fee.

- The reservation must be booked by a legal adult; children are welcome to stay as part of the group.



Paid Add-Ons (Marketplace)

- Optional paid amenities are available as add-on services, orderable through the Marketplace tab in our Guidebook after booking — such as early check-in, late check-out, pack-n-play travel crib, air mattress, or birthday balloons.



Keep in Mind (House Rules)

- Parties, smoking, or loud gatherings aren't permitted.

- Quiet hours: 10 PM-7 AM.



Online Check-In and Verification

- Once you complete your online check-in, you'll receive the instructions to access the property.

- A simple rental agreement ensures clarity and ease; by completing your reservation you agree to our rental terms and conditions.

- To meet legal and building security requirements, you may be asked to provide a government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact info, complete our verification portal and, in some cases, a background check. This information is collected only for screening/verification purposes and is not stored or used otherwise.
