Gorgeous view! Quaint lovely home. Takes me back to a slower time in life. Actually enjoyed not having WIFI all the time. It was nice to have real down time. Very interesting property with the owners touch. She is a book enthusiast which made it fun! Lots of good reading material. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven.

Outstanding Location and View
Excellent location that is within a short distance from everything.
Probably isn’t a home anywhere in Maine with a better view.
Comfortable place to vacation.
This house has a magical view of an incredible cove! We absolutely loved our stay.
This beautiful home is cozy, comfortable and the location is stunning! We loved the Newagen Alpaca Farm down the road as well as walking and biking around Booth Bay!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
The cottage’s location is picturesque, offering a stunning view of a quaint harbor adorned with islands and a lighthouse in the distance. Upon arrival, the cottage appeared clean and tidy. However, a foul odor emanated from the first-floor bedroom, reminiscent of a deceased animal trapped within. This unpleasant smell rendered the bedroom unusable. Consequently, we resorted to sharing the larger upstairs bedroom. We promptly informed the host of the issue, but their response from three different individuals was one of surprise, as if they were unaware of this problem. Upon my return, I conducted an online search and discovered that the odor has persisted for at least a year. Therefore, their claim of being unaware of the issue is highly deceptive. The host dispatched an individual to investigate, but their actions were limited to placing a towel under the bedroom door. A representative contacted via phone promised “compensation,” but no such offer has been received. The fact that the cottage is advertised as having three bedrooms while only two are functional, coupled with their lack of acknowledgment of the problem prior to our arrival, strongly recommends against considering this property.

We had a wonderful stay here during our spring break. Our family had plenty of space and we were quite comfortable. The house has one of the most spectacular views we’ve ever experienced at a rental while also having all of the amenities we needed to cook a few meals. Can’t wait to come again!
This stay was a dream. As advertised. Would stay again. Easy directions, entry and had anything we needed. Drove as far as Acadia to hike and stayed local too. Even had a family emergency to ER (no fault of the property) and the Maine coastal ER care and service was fantastic. Thank you for the great experience! Highly recommend.
Thank you for allowing my family to stay in your home. We had a great week enjoying the area and the view of the Cuckolds. Can’t wait to return for another visit!
The home on Cape Newagen has breathtaking views that immediately capture you as you enter the home. When having coffee or eating a meal, we watched the lobstermen work and the boats come in and out. It is also conveniently located near a wonderful resturant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
