Inside you will find the rustic comfort of a old-school Maine cabin with some with a beautiful vaulted ceilings. There are spectacular water views from the living room and primary bedroom. A gas fireplace adds to the ambiance and makes for cozy nights. Bringing you back in time, enjoy a sink in every bedroom, a showcase to the time. The kitchen is well-equipped, welcoming, and perfect for preparing meals at home. Escape to a tranquil getaway at this classic Maine cabin with all one-floor living. There are two full bathrooms (one with a walk-in shower and the other with a claw-foot tub/shower).
When you can tear yourself away, it`s a 6-minute walk over to the Newagen Seaside Inn for a lovely dinner out or to enjoy music in the pub. The town landing is a great place to fish or go for a swim. Walk the 1/2 mile to the Southport Memorial Library where you can feel the history and warmth of this island community. Join in the children`s story hour or take in one the speaking engagements. As soon as my husband walked in the smells and kitchen cabinets took him back to 3 years old and his grandparents farmhouse! The place is quaint and quirky and we loved it. The beds were comfortable, rooms nice size and all the modern amenities needed with the comforts of home.

Thank you for your kind words! We’re so glad you enjoyed the beautiful location, the ocean views from the porch, and the comfort of the home. It’s wonderful to hear the kitchen, cozy fireplace, and little touches like the fans made your stay even more comfortable. We hope to welcome you back for another relaxing getaway soon!
Our vacation home was ideally set up and located to enjoy oceanfront living. There was more than enough room for all of us and the home had everything to cook a lobster feast although we preferred to support local eateries in order to maximize fun time. This home was perfectly located to enjoy all types of Maine Coastal boat excursions, the botanical gardens and many interesting shops and museums Loved every minute
What a great house!! We were two couples who love to cook!!! Everything we needed in the kitchen!!! Fantastic views and just a wonderful stay!!!! Enjoyed every moment
Great stay. Just what we were looking for ... and just what we needed. Great family vacation. The cabin is secluded but only a short drive to Booth Bay for all of the essentials. The cabin is located only a few few feet from the rocky coast and has a great view from the deck that spans the entire length of the nearly 100 year-old cabin. We enjoyed watching the sunsets, waves, wildlife and fishermen checking their traps. We did a number of day trips and really enjoyed the centralized location. We would rent this property again. Felt privileged that the owners made this cabin available for other families to experience and enjoy - if only for a week. Thank you.
We picked Sprucerock as it was a vintage Maine cabin on the water and was pet friendly. This was our sixth trip and our first at Sprucerock. We have another vintage cottage we have stayed at a few times, that we absolutely adore, and Sprucerock was right up there. The views are spectacular and the cabin is great. Our dog was in heaven with the breezes and salty sea air. We will definitely keep it at the top of our list for our next trip.
The cabin was awesome. Wendy and Tom were great to work with. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. We had a beautiful stay with our family. Thank you. Loved it.
