Clean, cozy cabin on the river. Excellent for a weekend away. If you plan on fishing from the bank you will have to go down to the boat ramp. It’s very steep by the cabin.

This is a really great cabin in a fantastic location! We were fishing with Jenkins Fishing Service, which is right down the road from this cabin. For us, that made it super convenient. Even if we weren't fishing with Jenkins, I think this would be a great location to explore the area that offers so much. The town of Calico Rock itself is quite small, but does have a few dining options. Just be sure to check the hours of operation for different businesses before heading out, as many weekday nights a lot of places seem to be closed. Besides fishing in Calico Rock, we made a half-day trip up towards Norfork Lake and the fish hatchery. The town of Norfork itself also offered a few good dining options, again with limited availability based on which nights of the week you are visiting. We went down towards Mountain View as well, and would have visited the Blanchard Springs Caverns, but go figure, they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Honestly though, the main point is that this specific cabin is a great home-base for lots of local activities. The cabin itself is really a beautiful home. The decorations are perfect for a river cabin, and all the bedrooms have comfortable beds and bedding, with plenty of extra blankets if needed. Internet, smart TVs, coffee pot, Keurig...all the comforts you want are available. We would have loved to have been able to fish off the bank, but the water level was a bit low and the bank too steep! Overall, awesome place!
