Quiet, convenient location in W Vail

Reasonable value minutes away from Vail Village. Property was advertised multiple times as having a fireplace but it was made clear after we checked in that use of fireplace was forbidden ! This was extremely disappointing with nighttime temps dipping into the mid-40’s.

Lots of potential with some fixes from the homeowner

Location is very good - close to West Vail Red and Green lines with frequent stops in the winter. ~20 min ride to Vail Village, shorter to Lionshead and Cascade Village. The carport was useful during snow storms. The gas grill worked well for steaks and burgers. The upstairs bunk room was great for kids. Overall, there was plenty of space for our family of 5. On the negative side, the downstairs beds are past their useful life and should be replaced. As mentioned in other reviews, the downstairs baseboards do not heat, requiring space heaters which are included (thankfully). The fireplace was shutdown, despite being listed as an amenity and the damper was stuck open. The coils on the stovetop were sometimes finicky and didn't always work without moving them around. Although the nightly rate for this property is on the lower side for the area, with the listed issues, my family wouldn't stay here again. If the owner could fix the issues, it would be something we would consider again.

Vail - Great time skiing

Family, friends, and I stayed for a few days of skiing at Vail. The village was 5 minutes by car. The layout was great for three couples with bedrooms up and down and the kitchen/living room in the middle. It was perfect for us.

Short trip to Vail

I stayed at this property for 3 nights. The trip was a bit last minute and this was one of the last remaining rentals that met our needs. The location was excellent. Parking on site and there was no check-in necessary. A code was sent to us via the App. The condo was very clean. Compared to other places we have stayed, the kitchen was not as well appointed but was decent. If we were cooking full meals, we may have had some issues with the quality of the knives and accoutrements. The dishwasher seemed to leak so we stopped using it. Overall it felt a little old.

Easily one of the best stays we have had in vail. The house is amazing and so is the location. We ventured up to see the fall foliage with some friends visiting from out of town and we already booked another weekend to ski in December. The living room is the heart of the house, especially with its fireplace...we made smores and it was so cozy. Definitely can't wait to hang out there after a long ski day... It took us an easy 7 minutes to get to Vail Village for happy hour...it was fantastic. Great stay and excited to bring back more friends.
