About the apartment:
The holiday rental (approx. 73 sqm) features:
- a bathroom with ample storage space, a mirror cabinet, a hair dryer, a large walk-in shower, and a raised toilet
- a hallway with a large mirror and a coat rack
- a fully equipped kitchen with an induction stove including a built-in range hood, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric slicer, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster
- a dining room with a large table and six chairs
- a spacious bedroom with a box-spring bed (180 x 200), a cot, and a sliding-door closet
- a children’s room with two beds (80 x 200), a small closet, and a TV
- a living room, also with a TV and floor-to-ceiling windows offering a beautiful view of the town and the surrounding nature.
Adjacent to the living room is an approximately 16-square-meter balcony, equipped with patio furniture and sunshades. The enclosed garden, featuring a large patio and a grill, as well as a storage room for bicycles, is available for shared use. Use of the washing machine, dryer, ironing board, and iron is available upon request (in a separate room adjacent to the apartment). Our holiday rental is a smoke-free property. Bed linens and towels are provided, and free Wi-Fi is available.
The municipality of Vöhl charges a lodging tax of 1 € per person per day (for guests aged 6 and older). We must collect this tourism tax in cash upon arrival.
Location:
The house is located in a village approximately 4 km from the small town of Korbach (shops, restaurants, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, cinema, bowling alley, medical care, etc.). The apartment is on the ground floor. A private parking space is available in front of the house. You’ll be staying in a rural setting, yet you can still reach tourist attractions such as the spa town of Bad Wildungen, the well-known Willingen ski resort with its World Cup ski jump, Lake Edersee with its dam and Waldeck Castle, the beautiful Kellerwald National Park-Edersee, as well as the Twistesee and Diemelsee lakes with their many water sports opportunities, all just a few minutes’ drive away. Numerous hiking and biking trails are located in the immediate vicinity. Kassel, home to Documenta, with its Hercules monument and Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, as well as the beautiful old town of Marburg with its castle, are each only about 60 km away.
