About the host
Hosted by Allison Heyrman
Southport, NC is my hometown and my husband is from Green Bay, WI. We meet in Southport when my husband was in the Navy at Camp Lejeune. We always thought it would be great to have homes at the opposite ends of the state. When our daughter and her family moved to Brevard with our only grandchild it was time.
Why they chose this property
We wanted unrestricted land so we could build what we wanted. I really didn't want to be that far away from a town but when I saw the view I was sold... So we built an energy efficient home with solar, tesla power wall for back up when the power goes off. Triple pane windows, sliding doors, spray foam insulation and so much more.
What makes this property unique
The Sunset that we get to enjoy everyday that we are there is absolutely beautiful
