Would you like to immerse yourself in the Italian way of life? Then the charming “La Palma” holiday apartment is just right for you! The approximately 60 m² apartment is located on the ground floor of a two-story historic building complex in the small hamlet of San Maurizio, about 400 m from the lake and public swimming areas. To reach the apartment, walk under an old stone archway into a sort of backyard, and from there take the stairs up to the ground floor. The beautiful view from the two balconies and the bedroom—over the palm trees and the old roofs of the houses below, all the way to the lake—gives you the feeling of stepping back in time. All in all, these are the perfect conditions to leave everyday life behind and simply unwind! Right from the house, you can explore the impressive surroundings on numerous walking and hiking trails. The many vantage points never cease to amaze with ever-changing views of the exceptionally beautiful landscape and the lake. Cycling enthusiasts, on the other hand, can explore the area in their own way; bikes can be parked by the staircase leading up to the apartment. The lakeshore at Ghiffa, with its pizzeria, bar, and pharmacy, is about 1 km away. If you’d like to go for a stroll, we recommend the town of Intra with its idyllic old town, which you can reach by car in just under 10 minutes. From here, you can also set out on many interesting excursions via both the car ferry and the passenger ferry. Should you still feel a longing for the rest of the world, free Wi-Fi is available for browsing the internet. The picturesque church square, with free parking spaces and additional parking options, is located about 100 m away. You can drive almost right up to the house for loading and unloading. Floor plan:
