We stayed here for a week over Christmas as a group of three friends and had a really lovely time. The house is large, spacious and very comfortable, with plenty of room to relax without ever feeling on top of each other. It’s set in a quiet location, which made it especially peaceful over the holiday period.The kitchen was well equipped and ideal for preparing meals, and the beds were comfortable, making it easy to settle in for a longer stay. The heating worked well throughout the house, so everywhere felt cosy despite the winter weather.A particularly thoughtful and much-appreciated touch was the Christmas tree that had been put up and decorated for our arrival — it really added to the festive atmosphere and made the house feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the selection of books and games, which were perfect for relaxed evenings in.The house has lots of character as an older stone building with curved ceilings. With that in mind, there were a few cobwebs in places, which is understandable and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the stay.Overall, it was a comfortable, well-equipped and welcoming place to stay, and we would happily recommend it.

Mooie oude boerderij op een prachtige en rustige locatie

Pros: Locatie tussen heuveltjes, wandelen vanaf het huis, leuke uitvalsbasis om stadjes en dorpjes te bezoeken Cons: Het sanitair / de badkamers waren aan vervanging toe. Het huis heeft wat weinig ramen, hierdoor relatief donker

Fijn en gezellig erg goed uitgerust huis op een rustige locatie

Pros: Ruim en erg proper huis met ruime kamers en alles wat je nodig hebt aanwezig! De pooltafel (ook al was het lastig om vanop elk punt je keu te kunnen gebruiken) was voor ons een meerwaarde! Rustige locatie zowel overdag als s nachts Heel wat verwelkomingskadootjes! En een lekker wijntje. Snelle en goede communicatie met host! Omheinde tuin voor onze golden retriever! Cons: Slechts 1 van de 3 regendouches werkte naar behoren. Donker huis, zeker bij regenweer, weinig natuurlijke lichtinval in het huis. We misten misschien nog een extra zetel of loungehoek.
