About this property

Meyers Ranch Wooded Retreat Cabin #1 - Hot Springs & Swimming

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful cabin. Wake up to the birds chirping and fresh mountain air. You will have access to our hot spring and swimming reservoir. Located down the road from working family ranch, this cabin is a great place for hiking, star gazing, relaxing at the water's edge or enjoying the country life. Perfect for travel workers with high speed Starlink, black out curtains, all kitchen amenities, and towels and bedding.

*Excellent cycling roads with very little traffic. Lake Almanor 15 min away and 5 min from downtown Greenville
*Many mountain lakes
*2 hour drive from Reno, Nevada and Lake Tahoe. 1 hour from Mt. Lassen National Volcanic Park and 5 hour drive from San Francisco.
*This cabin sits in a wooded forest just 1 minute from the main ranch. This cabin has its own porch and shares a fire pit and covered barbecue with two other cabins.
*This two story cabin is charming with knotty pine interior and an open living room / kitchen floor plan. The only bedroom with vaulted ceiling is on the second floor.
*All modern conveniences; dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, gas fireplace, washing machine + dryer, and shower.

You will have access to the ranch with scenic vistas, meadow, pastures, woods, creeks and summer reservoir for swimming and kayaking. Wonderful place to take in birds, wildlife, and relax. Great for walks, hiking, and nature watching. Friendly owner family is onsite and willing to offer ideas on travel and activities.

The entire cabin is yours, but don't stop there, you have access to the shared fire pit and covered barbecue (shared with 2 other same-size cabins), entire ranch including the hot spring and swimming reservoir.

Some of our guest want to get away and enjoy some private time. Others want to get to know us and enjoy seeing what goes on here at the ranch. We are happy to accommodate either when we are available.

The chores on the ranch vary depending on the time of the year. The swimming reservoir is only available in summer and early fall. The snow varies week to week in the winter.
