We ended up here on the Salzhaff because it combines proximity to the sea with the peace and tranquility of being surrounded by nature. The light-filled, open layout of the house, the cosy atmosphere by the fireplace, relaxation in the sauna paradise right outside the front door, and the wide range of sports and recreational activities—whether by the water, on the water, by bike, or simply on foot. Here, you’ll find everything you need for a wonderful time with your loved ones.
Our house can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms—there’s even room for a travel cot, and your four-legged friend is welcome here, too!
For large families or groups, we can offer a booking for the neighbouring half of the house, “Tuttelduuv”—it’s identically equipped, with a direct view of the lagoon from the terrace—though it doesn’t allow pets and has only 2 bedrooms for 4 people.
The extremely spacious ground floor, featuring a living and dining area as well as an open, superbly equipped kitchen, leaves nothing to be desired. A wood-burning stove provides warm cosiness on colder days.
A large, wraparound terrace facing southeast is ideal for breakfast with a view of the meadow and forest or for a relaxing day on holiday, even when the wind isn’t right for surfing on the lagoon or you just need a break from the beach.
On the ground floor, you’ll also find a fully equipped bathroom with a large shower area and an utility room with a washer-dryer and additional storage space.
The attic features two bedrooms with large double beds (180 cm x 200 cm and 160 cm x 200 cm, respectively)—one with its own TV. A walk-in closet / luggage room lets you tuck away everything you don’t need in a flash. The hallway, with its beautiful ambiance and light streaming through the bat-wing dormers, as well as the large bathroom with a rain shower, round out this area of the house. In the attic, you’ll find another gorgeous bedroom with two single beds. Our igloo sauna is shared by both halves of the house—we provide one sauna session as a gift; for additional use, tokens can be purchased at a very reasonable price from our management.

Please note:
Out of consideration for the guests arriving after you, smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house. Please use the outdoor area for this purpose—the large roof overhangs provide shelter from the elements, and ashtrays are available.
For fire safety reasons, barbecuing with a charcoal grill is strictly prohibited in the Haffdroom holiday home area.
Bedding, towels, a travel cot, firewood, etc., can be booked in advance through our on-site manager. We will forward the booking to the management company for this purpose.
