One could undoubtedly say that this is a place where foxes and hares say good night to each other. Pure nature and no noise. An ideal place, then, to truly relax, connect with nature, and recharge your batteries.

The cozy-looking house blends harmoniously into its natural surroundings. From the covered patio, you enter the living and sleeping area. It is equipped with a sofa, satellite TV, a wood-burning stove, an open kitchen, and a dining table. This room offers the perfect spot for cosy get-togethers. You can get a good night’s sleep in the rustic French bed. The bathroom features a large, walk-in shower. The exceptional decor is characterised by great attention to detail.

From the property, you have a direct view of the forest, across the field, and out to the peaceful sheep and cattle. A small stream flows right past the property, providing soothing sounds. From another direction, a fresh lake breeze blows in from Schönlager Lake, just a few metres away.

The approximately 1,200 m² green property is completely fenced in. You can park your car right in front of the house. Your pet is welcome (a maximum of one beloved pet, as you’ll have a few peaceful cows and sheep as neighbors).

The surrounding area within walking distance
Schönlager Lake is just a few steps away from the property. There are plenty of small swimming spots and fishing spots here, so you can jump into the lake undisturbed first thing in the morning. The lake is free of motorboats and unspoiled, allowing you to enjoy the view to the fullest. The holiday home is located in a small, tranquil village, within walking distance of the two nature reserves, Trockenhänge and Mittleres Warnowtal. The Warnow River, which is very popular with canoeists, is also just a 10-minute walk away. The large forested area of the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park borders directly on the property. You can spend the entire day hiking through forests, along small rivers, streams, and lakes, and visit popular attractions such as Kaarz Castle, the Wendorf Adventure Riding Farm, or the Roter See with its restaurant.

Leisure and Day-Trip Destinations
The leisure and day-trip options in the region are virtually limitless. Nature lovers can, for example, go on horse-drawn carriage rides, canoe trips, boat tours, or guided hikes. For culture enthusiasts, we recommend, for example, the state capital of Schwerin—about 25 km away—with its beautiful old town and Schwerin Castle, which is considered one of the most beautiful in Germany. The immediate vicinity also features an archaeological open-air museum, a nature park centre, art galleries, pottery studios, water mills, Hühnengräber, and much more. The beautiful beaches of the Baltic Sea are also just 40 km away. For a family outing, we recommend, for example, the Oase water park with its sauna area in Güstrow, the trampoline park, or the zoo in Schwerin. A trip to the Pirate Open-Air Theatre in Grevesmühlen and the Nature and Environmental Park in Güstrow is also highly recommended.
