The Hagnau Winegrowers’ Association, well-known throughout Hagnau and the oldest winegrowers’ cooperative in Baden, offers professional wine tastings with cellar tours for those interested. With a wide selection of varieties and flavours, there’s something for every palate. You can also familiarise yourself with wine and its culture at various events organised by the winegrowers’ association, such as the Fruit and Wine Hiking Trail Festival, wine seminars, and much more. Hagnau and the surrounding area also offer plenty of variety for outdoor enthusiasts, such as boat rentals—including pedal boats, stand-up paddleboards, and motorboats—right at the ferry landing. The free swimming area, featuring an adventurous water playground with fountains, climbing structures, and swings—as well as the many open beach areas outside the swimming area—invite you to cool off on hot days. Visitors can also go fishing on Lake Constance with a valid fishing licence. Upon presentation of your licence, you can purchase a fishing permit at the Tourist Information Office.
Thanks to Hagnau’s central location, you can easily reach many attractions by boat. The landing stage is served by the Lake Constance Shipping Company (BSB), the Hagnau-Altnau lake line, the MK 10 naval cutter, and many sightseeing cruises. You should also keep an eye out for special trips, which are sometimes hidden gems—such as the unique voyage aboard Lake Constance’s last steamboat, the paddlewheel steamer Hohentwiel.
