House is located just steps from famous Dvual Street. Duval Street stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico. It has all the bars, restaurants, attractions and sunset celebration one could ask for. No need for a car.
The Neely House has been a part of Key West History as was the Family who owned it for over 100 Years! When you enter the home you are greeted with ten foot ceilings,traditional wood floors and an open living and dining room that will make you want to put on your dancing shoes and salsa the night away. An oversize kitchen leads you to the second floor with four separate bedrooms and a traditional conch style porch just off the master bedroom to enjoy the sites of old Key West. The backyard is completely fenced and features a large wood deck that encompasses a beautiful 100 plus year old Spanish Lime Tree. This home allows you to truly experience the history and tradition of Old Key West.
Note: The property is set up for no contact check-in. The unit has been cleaned and sanitized by a professional cleaning company prior to your arrival. If Key West closes to tourists due to COVID related travel shutdown, you will recieve 100% refund minus credit card fee of 3.5%.

Excellent location for walking to Docks.

It was very nice, we all enjoyed our stay. The bldgs./streets were not clean and Duval St. was nasty. It was not a place for young children.

Location location location!

Great historical house just steps away from Duval Street. No car needed although we rented one it sat for most of the month, a golf cart is a better choice or walk to everything from the property. Friendly neighbors and good times. Roberta was a great resource for everything Key West.

An Amazing Month

The house was perfect for us to venture out to everything we wanted to go, whether on foot or bike. We were able to host our friends and family in a very comfortable fashion. Roberta, who is the property manager was right on top of things, especially when the TV in the main room was not working. She did everything she could to make it right for our stay. You do have to climb stairs to the 4 bedrooms.

Home away from home

We absolutely loved the house. The bedrooms as described, are unique but with family and friends it was not an issue. We loved the backyard grill and deck. Great stay at Neely House

We thoroughly enjoyed our month on Petronia Street. The location was perfect and walking distance to You would want to go in KW. The downstairs was just as big as described. As long as you’re with family and close friends the upstairs connecting rooms work well. We were sorry to hear it wasn’t available same time next season. We will hopefully find something just as wonderful.

GOOD TIME IN OLD TOWN

Winding up our wonderful stay here in Key West, met people from all over the world. The house was roomy and comfortable, everything needed for a home away from home. Great back yard with a deck built around a beautiful shade tree. We had a new grill and all the necessary utensils for a great day of grilling. The backyard was a great place to relax, this was evident when people inquired about renting it for weddings, they were referred to the realtor. Renting a car for the duration of our stay was totally unnecessary because most of the activities were in walking distance, the Aquarium, Museum, shopping, restaurants, Mallory square and more. We are looking forward in returning with family and friends.

A PLACE IN THE CENTER OF EVERYTHING THAT IS KEY WEST

I just had the most wonderful stay in Key West at this property. First off, the owners are really nice and kept in touch with me me, which was very considerate. There are so many good things about this place. It is in the center of town and easily accessible to dozens of restaurants, from pizza, to Indian, to Chinese, rib joins and many seafood places. Make sure you go to the Ram's Head, which is just two blocks away. It's also within walking distance to Mallory Square, the Little White House and Earnest Hemingway's House, which are all MUST SEE's. I will echo what other people have said about the upstairs bedrooms. It is not the best set-up, but the owners acknowledge that and so do many of the reviews. Understanding that and being ready for it, makes for a wonderful stay at this property.

We really enjoyed our Winter here. A great location in the Key West "Old Town" district

The entire property was very clean when we arrived. Outside we enjoyed both the upper balcony and street level porch in front. In the rear is a quite, shaded backyard, including a deck that we used often. The downstairs rooms are large and nicely furnished. The kitchen is also large with many cabinets and an adequate, but not fancy, supply of dishes and utensils. The 4 bedrooms upstairs are uniquely arranged. They work well when any 2 of the bedrooms are being used. When 3 or 4 bedrooms are used, you have to walk through one bedroom to get to another. This worked OK for us as it was all family when the 4 bedrooms were used all at once. Roberta, the rental agent, is a pleasure to work with. If you need anything done at this rental during your stay, Roberta will take care of it for you.

Loved our stay! Perfect location

Fantastic experience! This was our first time renting a home in Key West for a month & it was even better than I had imagined! Everything was easy from renting to arriving to leaving. Roberta was extremely responsive & helpful, making it feel more like staying at a friends house than a rental. The location is perfect! One block off Duval, few blocks to Blue Heaven, ~6+ blocks straight down Petronia to Fort Zachary Taylor Beach, easy walk to Nailtini for a Mani/pedi & a happy hour glass of Prosecco at Vinos on Duval! We walked or rode our bikes everywhere. We fell in love with this 100 year old home & all it’s character. The downstairs is roomy, open & spacious with one full bathroom & a good sized kitchen that opens out to the loveliest back yard deck! We were both working remotely and the WiFi worked great. My husband brought 1 folding desk & there was 1 desk there so we had plenty of room to set up 2 separate “office spaces” in the dining area downstairs. We brought our bikes & stored them in the locked back yard which was also a safe place for our little Rescue Chihuahua to lay in the sun during the day. It is truly a little piece of heaven! My husband enjoyed the grill—fresh fish from Eaton Seafood Market. We enjoyed many meals, drinks & even entertained some new friends out on the deck. All the bedrooms & 1 full bath are upstairs. As mentioned in other reviews, the 4 BR are all connected with doors like old homes used to be (except the middle door is sealed) so you can make a full circle thru the rooms. 2 of the BR have doors that open into the hall but then you walk thru them to get to the other 2 BR. We were fully expecting this which was fine for my sisters family & a few close friends who visited. We are already planning our next trip!

An amazing stay in the heart of Duval & the Keys

Overall - we had a fantastic stay at this location. I can't say enough about the location and property manager. First, the location is in such an amazing spot. When they say a 'stone throw' from Duval, they mean it! Walk out the door and you are literally blocks from all the restaurants, bars, and shops you could need. The location is a huge stand out and you really have no need for a car whatsoever (unless you plan to do a ton of venturing) as you'll always be close by to a good time. Roberta, the property manager, was exceptionally communicative throughout the process. For starters, I locked myself out one day and she bailed me out my driving down to help me get into the property. If that wasn't enough, I has accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay (I booked two days earlier and thus was scheduled to leave two days earlier than intended). She adjusted this on the fly for me at no added cost. What's more, when I was slated to leave, I was met with an inbound tropical storm warning that day. Roberta was immediately communicative and incredibly helpful. She offered an additional night at no cost (when I even offered to pay) for safety purposes to allow me to safely travel home. Can't say enough about how friendly and helpful she was throughout the entire process. As to the house itself, I work remotely and thus spent quite a good bit of the trip working as normal. I'm constantly on video calls and the Wi-Fi was fluent throughout - so if you're coming to work remotely, you shouldn't have any concerns. There's even a nice desk and chair that I used throughout the trip. We loved the back deck and spent tons of time out there with our dog and friends enjoying the out doors. Awesome to have a spot like that to enjoy. Overall, I would absolutely come back to visit and stay in this exact same location as my wife, pup, and I (and friends that visited) had a wonderful time!

Fantastic Month

Great location! Roberta was very prompt with the few issues we had. We worked from home with no issues. Bedrooms are set up a bit different... but we knew that going into it.... if your staying with multiple couples just bring jammies:) We just love Key West and all it has to offer. We also traveled with our 14, 15, 16 year old kids and a dog.... KW is great for all ages:)

We really enjoyed our stay! It very much like the pictures. There was a new gas grill that was great for cooking on. The deck is lovely and we enjoyed our morning coffee there each day. It is a great location and you can walk almost everywhere!

Old typical conch house with a huge modern dayroom, tv in three bedrooms on four. A beautiful rear deck. A block close to Duval and Truman. You are in the middle of the island life.

Center of Key West!

So Roberta is the absolute best! I definitely recommend her as your agent. Super responsive. We were four solo adults down for some fishing and warm weather. We walked and biked to absolutely everything. This house is a half block north of Duval and about (or maybe exactly) in the middle of Duval. The back porch/deck is great to play cards and relax away from all the bars and nightlife. The house is nicely equipped. Spacious downstairs living. The upstairs could be weird depending on how your party is made up. There are 4 bedrooms but you have to walk through a bedrooms to get to bedrooms. For 4 friends is was fine as we all each had our own room. I think it would be fine also for a single family that don't mind or want your kids near you. I'd probabaly not recommend this for couples.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Had a wonderful stay with the family. The house is located in the historical district of Key West, one block from Duval. The house has been upgraded but the historical feel has been maintained. The deck was the perfect place to gather around the more than 100 year old Spanish lime tree. The owner recently completed upgrades to the deck so that the tree would have room to continue to grow. There were plenty of towels, sheets and all the other comforts needed. Each room has air-conditioning, overhead fans and televisions. The bedrooms have brand new carpet and as stated to get to the back bedrooms you enter through the front bedrooms. That was not a problem for us. The washer and dryer was a nice touch. It was clear we could have packed less since we were able to wash clothes. We walked to Duval street each night to check out the activity. Mallory square was a treat. We visited the Aquarium the museum and even joined Old Town Gym while we were here. The African Memorial and AIDS memorial at Higgs Beach was a 5 minute drive from the house however the property is so close to everything you don't need a car. Two blocks up Petronia at Thomas street is the Blue Heaven restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome. If eating at home is for you then the full kitchen is perfect we bought groceries upon arrival and ate both at home and at restaurants. We plan on coming back as soon as we can.

Wonderful Key West vacation house

Had a wonderful time in your home for the month of May. Great house and fantastic location! My family and i had a wonderful vacation to Key West and will stay there again. Was perfect for couples one week as well as our children and grandkids thenext week. Roberta was great to work with and very attentive. Looking forward to staying there again in 2016.

Needs a lot of work

If your looking for a location that is close to Duval street this is for you. If your looking for the basics in a rental property , this is not the place for you. The house smells musty. The carpet in the bedrooms smells. Two of the bedrooms you have to go thru another bedroom to get to the bathroom. The sheets were thread bare, the silverware was the quality of the cheapest restaurant you have ever dined at. The mattress's were old and terrible to sleep on. The street noise was unbearable all thru the night. The back deck where you will spend a great deal of time is being pushed apart by the tree in the middle of it, therefore you can only use 1/2 of it for fear of falling thru the gaping holes. The chairs & umbrella on the deck must have been from the garbage truck, weren't able to adjust umbrella being held up by the rope tied to it. I could on & on but I think you get my point.

In the Heart of Key West

After a two month stay we are looking forward to returning to this big house in the heart of Key West. It's close to everything. It's best features downstairs are a wide open living-dining area, a great back yard/deck area shaded by an elegant, enormous Spanish Lime tree and, upstairs, a charming second floor balcony overlooking the street. Park your car and walk or ride a bike to everything you want while on vacation.

Neeley House room for all

Just completed a 30 day stay Dec 1st 2014. A lot of great things to say about our stay. Location is one block from Duvall St and 2 blocks to US 1. That allowed us to use both ends of Duval St. Spacious downstairs allowed for plenty of room for our two grandchildren (5 yrs and 6 months) to roam. Back deck was used quite a bit just to relax and have breakfast or just reading a book. Porch on upper level was used for people watching and just relaxing. Air conditioning and fans kept it plenty comfortable both day and night. Glassware and utensils provided were more than enough. I would gladly stay here again if opportunity presented itself.

Friends Get Away

We stayed at this house with 4 couples. There was plenty of room for everyone. We were close the everything. Great shopping and restaurants are with in walking distance. You can not beat the backyard for relaxing.
