About the host
Hosted by Stephanie Emtman
Hi! My family and I have called Packwood our home for over 22 years and we feel incredibly fortunate to live in such a special place. We live, work and play here and love raising our daughter in this amazing mountain community.
When we're not hosting guests, you'll find us exploring Mount Rainier National Park, skiing at White Pass, riding horses in the high country or simply enjoying everything the outdoors has to offer.
One of the things we enjoy most about hosting is helping guests discover the beauty and adventures that make Packwood so memorable. Whether you're visiting for hiking, skiing, wildlife viewing or just a peaceful getaway, we're happy to share our favorite local recommendations.
We hope you'll come experience Packwood through the eyes of a local and create memories or your own. As my husband would say "Come live the dream."
Why they chose this property
We bought this property because we wanted a original A frame in the heart of the mountains. Our neighborhood is friendly, safe and beautiful. You can take a walk around the block or just up the road along the golf course.

This charming A-frame comfortably accommodates guests with a queen bed upstairs and a full bed on the main floor, full kitchen, 1 bathroom, stackable washer and dryer, smart TV, Wi-Fi, BBQ, firepit, outdoor seating and plenty of parking. There is nothing quite like a A-frame cabin. We are music enthusiast's and appreciate all genres. This cabin features a few things we have collected over the years. The Rock-N-Roll memorabilia is certainly fun to check out!
