About this property

Ocean Tree House - Mountain Views, Wrap Around Balcony, Privacy and Serenity

Our lovely beach house perches high in the tree tops with serene mountain and forest views. Sip your morning coffee while viewing wildlife and birds on the wrap around balcony. Relax in the evening in front of a roaring fire in our cozy high vaulted ceiling cabin with hardwood floors throughout the house.

We offer free wireless internet, a flat-screen HDTV with free Netflix and Apple+ streaming and an assortment of games and books. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and an assortment of condiments and teas.

The master bedroom suite comes with a large attached master bath complete with jacuzzi tub. Both bedrooms are fully appointed with comfortable queen-sized beds, quality mattresses, and premium linens. We provide quality eco/friendly soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Stroll our beautiful private beach: You will have access to our community's private beach with over 5 miles of beautiful sandy beach for long strolls, surf fishing and exploring tide pools. The beach is a 12 minute walk or can be accessed by a 4 min car ride with our electronic gate pass. You can also explore and stroll around the nearby Irish Beach pond, a short walk from the house.

Please note there is a short steep driveway to the house and one flight of stairs into the house (first level is garage).

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure garage door opener back in the lock box by the garage and beach access key back in the house
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Use of fire candles not allowed.
Please no loud music or loud noise after 10 PM due to Irish Beach noise curfew.
No dogs on furniture unless you bring your own blanket to place between your dog and the furniture. Cats are never allowed.

Located in a quiet, safe, beautiful neighborhood, Ocean Tree House with its amazing private beach was a relaxing retreat. Point Arena Lighthouse and Bowling Ball Beach are not too far away, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that nearby S & B Market & Hardware in Manchester has a large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables!

Loved the birds!

This place was amazing! I loved feeding the birds and watching them while I had my morning breakfast and coffee. I was only there a few days and I do recommend the horse beach ride. Beautiful scenery everywhere in that area. We drove to a few other beaches and explored them too and went to the lighthouse

It’s a nice little house with amazing views. I stayed there with my dog which was allowed and it was more house than needed. There is private beach access but I recommend getting groceries on the way. There are not many close restaurants but the kitchen is fully equipped!

I feel renewed.

My week at Ocean Tree House was perfect. It's so quiet and peaceful - just what I wanted. There were lots of birds, foxes, and deer. Irish Beach is huge and not usually many people. The owner couldn't have been more accomodating. I highly recommend this home.

The Ocean Tree House is an amazing place to stay. The home is clean and comfortable. It's fun for kids, and adults, to feed and watch the different birds come eat. Also the deck is great for stargazing at night. This is a lovely little gem in Irish Beach.

Love this house!

This is our second trip to this wonderful little treehouse. It’s tiny cozy has an amazing patio with the birdfeeder. The host has provided all the comfort of home and a lovely and cozy environment.

Love this place

We’ve stayed here several times, and at this point it feels like home. We were here over Thanksgiving, and it was so lovely, from feeding the birds and birdwatching, to beach hikes and neighborhood walks. Our little dog, an 8 pound terrier with an 80 pound personality, is downright chill in this environment. Just a quiet and cozy space that feels like home.

The perfect getaway

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our trip. A busy family looking to be far away from it all and spend a week enjoying each others company on the sand!!! Our 5 y/o had a blast at Irish beach - and it was the perfect location for our daily excursions - horse back riding, skunk train in fort Bragg, the lighthouse and forest hikes. We are defiantly looking forward to another trip next year.

Great Place at the Mendocino Coast

The Ocean Treehouse was very comfortable and well provisioned. We made our dinner there both nights and all the gear we needed was available. The bird feeder was a wonderful touch. We enjoyed the area a lot. Walking the dogs, going to the beach, wine tasting, the Lighthouse, and running on Point Arena trails. Would love to go back.
