Our beautiful new holiday home is located right next to the chalets in the Bernsteinland Wendorf and is the ideal starting point for a wonderful escape from everyday stress. Whether you're on a city trip or simply want to unwind, you've definitely come to the right place. Ideal for 2 people. Please note that a steep staircase leads up to the gallery bedroom. Around Wendorf, you and your four-legged friends can immerse themselves in the beautiful forests and meadows. An impressive network of bridleways in the Lake District opens directly from the farm, with no road crossings and several swimming lakes for both humans and horses. Wendorf is just a few kilometers from Schwerin. Surrounded by the charming landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District, you have the opportunity to discover art and culture in the state capital, as well as actively explore the magnificent natural landscapes. There are a wide variety of activities for all ages: educational playgrounds, water sports on the castle lake, the castle's herd of grey horses and a walk-in deer enclosure, bicycle rentals and outdoor sports equipment, riding lessons for all ages and levels, pony rides for the little ones, carriage rides and horseback rides in the beautiful countryside, Trakehner riding and breeding horses, and a comprehensive wellness offering with various packages. Activities nearby: The WINSTONgolf golf course, just a 10-minute drive away, is one of the most attractive golf courses in all of Europe. As a guest of the castle hotel, you receive discounted green fees for all three courses on site. The surrounding area also offers many opportunities for outdoor activities. The region is perfect for long bike rides or enjoyable walks and hikes. Excursions to Schwerin and Rostock, or a day at the beach on the Baltic Sea, are highly recommended from here.
