Welcome to the Niederrhein Kaue—your charming holiday rental right on the Rhine. Here, industrial charm and Rhineland cosiness come together: Spanning 60 m², the apartment features a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a sleeper sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washing machine. A small terrace invites you to linger. Enjoy an unforgettable stay in this unique blend of rugged charm and comfort!

The Kaue consists of a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and a terrace.
Ideal for 2 adults and 1 child.
In the bedroom, you’ll find a cosy king-size box-spring bed, an open wardrobe, and a small desk for working.
The living room features a beautiful corner sofa that can also be quickly converted into a third sleeping spot. The 50-inch TV is connected to a satellite dish and receives a wide variety of channels. There’s also a PS4 with several games available for your use, as well as books and children’s games.
The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you need for daily use: a large refrigerator with an extra freezer compartment, a 4-burner hob, a multifunction oven with a built-in microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a kettle. A DAB radio with Bluetooth is also available.
The bathroom features a walk-in shower and a washing machine (2,- via coin-operated machine)
To wind down at the end of the day, you can relax on the terrace with a glass of wine or—as is more common here—a bottle of beer.
Dogs are welcome—we have two of our own. We just ask that you don’t let your four-legged friends on the bed or the sofa. There’s a large dog bed ready in the living room.
Of course, we clean the apartment as thoroughly as necessary after a “dog visit.” If you happen to find a stray dog hair in any corner, we apologise.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire apartment.
We’re happy to provide bed linens and towels.

“Die Kaue” is a self-contained holiday rental with its own entrance and parking space.
Access is via a key safe located right next to the front door.
Additional important information
We strive to make our Kaue as comfortable as possible.
Given its connection to the Lower Rhine coalfield, we’ve chosen the furnishings accordingly.
The apartment has been recently renovated and is fully equipped.
The washing machine is equipped with a coin validator and requires 2 x 1,- for one wash cycle.
In the immediate vicinity (8 min. by bike / 2 min. by car), you’ll find the village centre, where you can get everything you need for daily life (Edeka, bakery, Sparkasse, restaurant, ice cream shop, and much more).
Within walking distance, you’ll find a small country inn with a beer garden or a charming farmhouse café.
The Kaue is an excellent starting point for extended bike rides along the Rhine or lovely walks through the surrounding fields. Your four-legged friend will love it.
The larger cities in the area (Wesel, Dinslaken, Oberhausen, Duisburg) are about a 30-minute drive away, and a shopping trip to the Netherlands is also possible in about an hour.
