It's hard to surmise how special our stay with Steffen and Sandy was. We were looking for somewhere to relax and do some remote working, and we stumbled on somewhere I hope to keep returning to for years to come. The photo's don't do the house justice, it has been beautifully renovated and has a brilliantly equipped kitchen such that we stayed home to cook most nights and made the most of the incredible view. The layout of the accommodation provides privacy - the pool in particular is tucked away from the communal terrace - but Sandy and Steffen are also available should you need them whilst still being respectful of space.The hospitality we received was extraordinary - the airline lost my luggage leaving me with no clothes for 5 days in 40degree heat and Sandy kindly leant me some of hers to tide me over. Steffen also noticed we were enjoying al fresco dining so set up a hot plate for us to use as BBQ's were forbidden in the area during such extreme temperatures. We quickly bonded with them over our love of good food and wine and by then end of the week were sharing meals on the terrace and going out to eat together. We barely scratched the surface of local produce and eateries, there is so much to enjoy in this region and Steffen kept us abreast of events and things to see and do. They have built a beautifully calm and considered retreat amongst the Tuchan vineyards and I can't wait to return. Thank you for such a memorable trip S&S!
