The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/lodging tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar are not issued a visitor’s card.

Visit our new, exclusive holiday apartment “Bakgardssvit” in the heart of the Hanseatic city of Wismar. It is located right on Altwismarstraße, a promenade in the heart of the Old Town, just a few metres from Wismar’s market square with its shops, cafés, and restaurants, or from the Wismar harbour. The light-filled holiday apartment is generously sized at approximately 65 square metres and accommodates up to 3 people. The particularly beautiful high ceilings make the apartment appear even larger.
It is extremely centrally located, yet in a quiet area, right in the heart of Wismar’s picturesque Old Town.

Balcony with wooden decking, matching wooden chairs with cushions, and a dining table (ideal for morning breakfast or to wind down the day while watching the sunset).

This is a non-smoking apartment, and pets are not allowed (ideal for people with allergies).
If you arrive with your own or rented bicycles, you can park them securely in the locked courtyard.


Parking in Wismar
Paid short-term parking is available on Großschmiedestraße. We also recommend the following free parking options: Hochbrücke Schottelweg (access via Kanalstraße).
You’ll find various shopping options (Edeka supermarket or a mini-market open daily), cafés, bakeries, and restaurants just a few metres from your accommodation.
The Wulf bike rental shop is located about 400 metres away. Here you can rent bicycles or e-bikes for the duration of your stay.
