Vacations by the pool with a view over the Etang de La Palme and the sea

We welcome our guests to our “dream home,” which features a large pool and views of the historic town centre of La Palme, the Étang de La Palme, and the sea all the way to the Falaise de Leucate. The house is located on a very quiet private street with friendly neighbors and is ideal for an auditory “detox.” The perfect holiday spot for one large family or several families!
Just 10 minutes to the beach

The accommodation

The generously appointed house features a secluded pool (available for use starting in May at the earliest), an outdoor area with a terrace, a balcony off two bedrooms offering breathtaking views all the way to the sea, and a well-maintained garden. The two bedrooms on the ground floor have direct access to the terrace and the pool.

Inside, guests will find:

- An air-conditioned living/dining room of approximately 70 square metres with a dining table for 8 people, furnished with a large lounge sofa, a 65-inch TV with access to streaming services (not included in the rental), and a fireplace.

The dining table comfortably seats up to 8 people. From here, you can also enjoy the wonderful view that sets this house apart from others.

- High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house and by the pool

- Well-equipped kitchen with an induction/gas stove, electric oven, 2 large refrigerators, a freezer, a Nespresso machine (with cappuccino function), and a dishwasher. A filter coffee maker and two Neapolitan moka pots are also available for making coffee.

- On the ground floor: 1 shower room with toilet, 1 bathroom with tub and shower, 1 separate toilet

- Upstairs: 1 shower room and 1 separate toilet

- 2 air-conditioned bedrooms on the ground floor with direct access to the pool (beds 160 and 180 wide)

- 2 air-conditioned bedrooms on the upper floor with direct access to a balcony offering spectacular views. (Beds 160 and 170 wide)

- Outdoor dining area for up to 8 people, gas grill, outdoor sink

- Direct access from the kitchen to the pool area

- 11 x 5-meter pool with plenty of sun loungers, an outdoor sofa, and the beautiful view described above.

- Parking for 2 cars on the enclosed property. Reserved parking for 1 additional car on the adjacent private road

- Laundry room with a new washing machine and dryer

- Electric roller shutters on almost all windows / sliding mosquito screens in all bedrooms

- We provide bed linens, towels (NO beach towels), and kitchen towels.

- La Palme is ideally located between Narbonne and Perpignan, near the beach resorts of Leucate and Barcares, and has its own beach, which can be reached in 15 minutes by bike.

- The region is known for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and beach sailing (there are schools for all these sports) and for what are probably the most beautiful sandy beaches on the French Mediterranean coast.

- You can also take some very interesting day trips in the surrounding area:

o Narbonne, with its rich history as one of the largest ports of the Roman Empire

o Carcassonne, arguably the most impressive medieval fortified city

o Perpignan, the former residence of the King of Majorca

o Collioure, the charming artists’ village just across the Spanish border

—all of which are within a 30- to 60-minute drive

- The location within the “Parc naturel régional de la Narbonnaise” offers opportunities for a wide range of recreational activities.

o The salt lakes around Narbonne form a vast natural reservoir teeming with many bird species—especially flamingos

o The Corbières are a fascinating range of low mountains with secluded valleys, wineries, and picturesque villages

o The nearby Pyrenees offer high mountains and the tourist destination of Andorra

Since we have allergies, we can only rent the house to guests who agree not to smoke or bring pets onto the property.
