It was perfect for our family! Everything we needed was there so great for meal prep and plenty of seating. We especially enjoyed time on the deck with its great view and the kids had a blast in the pond. This was the best place we’ve ever stayed at! Thank you!!
This house was so perfect in every way. We took our family which consisted of my husband and myself, our daughter and her fiance and our two sons 25 and 17. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone and had some beds to spare. The kitchen had everything you could ever need or want and the outdoor space was my favorite place to be! The location being so close to the park entrance was super handy. I just can't say enough great things about this property. Would highly recommend!!
The location and setting of this property is 5 star. Really enjoyed the views! Upon entering the home, the leather couch looked really worn. Bar stools were mis-matched and the door to the deck by the grill didn’t lock. The sheets and towels had the strongest perfumy detergent smell that was nauseating. Any hotel would never have linens with a smell. Our comforter had a rip in it and was very cheap. I would recommend coverlets that wear better with an extra blanket. The kitchen is very equipped and we enjoyed preparing our meals there. Perfect place to stay when visiting Glacier Park.
One word: Perfect.
Nothing about this house is less than 5 stars. The kitchen has every piece of cook/bakeware and gadget you can think of. Bedrooms are comfortable. Plenty of board games and streaming services to keep even the most grumpy teenager happy. The master bath is like a spa and even the downstairs bath is huge! The view is spectacular.
QUICK access to West Glacier entrance and HWY 2 but still a feeling of seclusion. Felt completely alone and it was awesome. Many of the other places around you are right next door to someone. This was exactly what we needed and wanted!!
Lindsey was a great host. Quick turn around on ALL my questions from the moment we booked.
I was so pleased with everything about this home.
A lovely home with an unforgettable view. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The location of the home is very close to Glacier Park entrance. We really enjoyed our stay!
We stayed in this beautiful home for a week with our 3 adult children. The home was very clean and spacious. The views were absolutely stunning! It is very convenient to Glacier NP. We spent our days hiking in the park and evenings playing games on the beautiful covered porch while watching the sun set over the mountains. There was more than enough space for the five of us in this home. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had a fabulous time!
Perfect house of a group or family. Well maintained and stocked with everything we would need. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the West Glacier entrance. Would stay here again!
We had a wonderful experience staying at this property. The view was spectacular, and the house was beautiful with great living areas to hang out. We also loved the fire pit. And it’s in the perfect location for access to the park.
We enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings during our stay. Lindsey is wonderful and the home was impeccable . We enjoyed the pool table, the fire table in the evening with very comfortable seating . It was easy to fall asleep while watching the stars. This place is a dream come true.
This property is wonderful. You feel like you are 100 miles from civilization when you are only a few miles from West Glacier! The views are unmatched and the home is luxurious! Perfect!
We enjoyed the firepit in front of the house most nights. The porch made eating outside pleasurable. The pool table got good use. (It would be good to provide a cleaning brush or it.) he view was outstanding, but because of the smoky haze, we never got to see it until the Thursday of our week. The proximity to Glacier was important for our activities included two raft trips and three horseback rides. Our sixteen-month-old loved going up and down the stairs, playing ball on the ramp, and walking the grounds. Our ten- and seven-year-old grandchildren had a week full of things to do. A grand-nephew enjoyed the provided toys; he loved building with the legos. Nobody was disappointed.
The appliances also worked well.
The views of this home couldn’t be better! The property is beautiful and looks like the pictures. The owner was very responsive. We had a 2 year old with us and it was pretty kid friendly and she loved the pond! We had 9 people and felt like we all had enough space.
It does share an apartment for rent! The first renters kept to themselves but the others were walking around the property and deck a lot so it just depends who is renting it when you’re there! Also the master doesn’t have curtains on the huge windows! We didn’t get much sleep because of the daylight 18 hours a day! However the bed was SO comfortable and the views made up for it!
This rental vacation house is expensive but well worth the cost. Spacious and extremely comfortable, with good quality linens. The house was were stocked with paper products and laundry supplies - a change from the normal rental which has two rolls of toilet paper. The location is stellar - a mile or so from the entrance to west Glacier, close to rafting and hiking companies and various eating establishments. Fine dining can be found at Whitefish, look for Tupelo. Overall our family enjoyed a superlative vacation.
Four of us spent a few nights here and simply loved it. As described, the home is beautiful. As described, it has magnificant mountain views from every room. The location is a perfect base to knock around Glacier; you are only a couple of miles from the Going to the Sun Road and the park entrance. It's two story with 2 BRs downstairs, so be aware of that. Also, the Master BR windows inexplicably do not have any curtains that i saw, so you get light when the sun comes up. The kitchen was fully furnished and we easily cooked a few meals. a deer walked by our window, and two geese camped near the pond. The owner was a pleasure to do business with, extremely easy in and out. This is five star all the way for location, amenities, ease of dealing with the owner. You get what you pay for, and if you like what you see in the pictures, that's what you get.
From the first communication for inquiring about the property to check out, everything was first class. The property and the views from the main living area are expansive and ever changing. The master bedroom had the same amazing views and a beautiful, upscale bathroom. We visited in May and had cold, wet, sleet, snow and ended with warmer and sun, but nothing deterred from our enjoyment. The owner provided excellent recommendations for grocery and restaurants. The kitchen was superbly stocked, even including a variety of spices left by precious guests. The lower level bedrooms do not have views and share a bath but this was not inconvenient for our two adult couples. We hope to return.
My family of 9 had the pleasure of staying at this house to celebrate my eldest son's graduation from high school. Glacier National Park was our destination. This home was perfect! The views become evident as soon as you make your way up the driveway. The Continental Divide is visible from the porch.
The house is beautiful and well appointed. We had plenty of space for the 9 of us. The downstairs w/ the multiple bed rooms and pool table was a hit for the boys. The living room w/ the taxidermy is beautiful.
The village of West Glacier is 5 minutes from the home. The entrance to Glacier National Park is another 5 minutes from the village. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a vacation at Glacier.
We had a great time. This is a beautiful home. Would stay here again.
This home on the top of a hill has astonishing and unobstructed views. The photos show nothing around you, and other than the adjacent apartment over the garage that faces out in the opposite direction, you have total privacy. I wouldn't call it "luxury" exactly, but this is a great place for larger group, a family and even for just two. If you want a secluded place with a fantastic view close to the Park, it's the place for you.
