Recently renovated apartment on the raised ground floor in the center of Marina di Carrara, just 300 meters from the beaches.



Excellent, strategic location close to the sea.



The house offers two bedrooms (one with two single beds, one with a double bed and a single bed), a living room with a double sofa bed, kitchen, and bathroom. There’s an outdoor terrace, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.



Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms and the living room. Elegant Carrara marble finishes throughout. The apartment can accommodate up to 7 guests.

Leider eine deutliche Enttäuschung – trotz guter Lage.Positiv sind nur die Nähe zum Strand, freundliche (englischsprachige) Mitarbeiter und die renovierte Optik. Das war es aber auch schon.Die Realität weicht erheblich von der Beschreibung ab: Die zugesicherte Klimaanlage fehlt komplett – bei den Temperaturen ein gravierender Mangel.Das Internet ist praktisch unbrauchbar (ca. 1 Mbit/s über 4G). Noch schlimmer: Die Wohnung liegt in einem Funkloch, sodass auch mobiles Internet kaum funktioniert. Ohne funktionierendes WLAN ist man hier faktisch offline.Die Küchenausstattung war bei Ankunft unvollständig, alt und teils verschmutzt. Besonders die Pfannen und Töpfe hatten bestimmt mehrere Jahre hinter sich. Essenzielle Dinge wie Wasserkocher, Kaffeebecher, Salatschüssel und Haartrockner fehlten komplett und wurden erst nach Nachfrage gebracht – so sollte keine Übergabe stattfinden.Weitere Probleme: unangenehmer Geruch in der Wohnung, ein unzuverlässig funktionierender Herd und fehlende Schlüssel für die Müllbehälter (ebenfalls erst auf Nachfrage erhalten).Das sind keine Kleinigkeiten, sondern eine Häufung klarer Mängel, die den Aufenthalt spürbar beeinträchtigen und nicht dem gebuchten Standard entsprechen.Ich habe eine Mietminderung eingefordert und warte auf eine Rückmeldung. Sollte keine angemessene Lösung erfolgen, werde ich rechtliche Schritte prüfen.Fazit: Gute Lage allein reicht nicht – insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert.
