About this property

Downtown Helen with Gorgeous Mountain Views Near the Mountain Coaster!

Enjoy the spectacular seasonal views of surrounding mountains, and of the Alpine Village! The views are especially beautiful at night with all of the lights from the village glowing in the dark. You can view lighted Christmas Trees in Helen from December through February.

It's also very peaceful and relaxing sitting in the screened porch as you listen to music in the distance. Or, you might like relaxing in the sunroom while viewing nature's beauty through the large picturesque windows.

The Reihenhaus is located at the top of a ridge in downtown Helen off Main Street, just above City Hall, and on the same street as the Georgia Mountain Coaster. If you want to be close to all activities in Helen, then this is a great place to stay!

The living room has a 42' flat screen TV, and a romantic electric fireplace for enjoyment during the winter months. Free Wi-Fi provided! The Reihenhaus is a townhome which has two large bedrooms upstairs with a king-sized bed in the master and a queen-sized bed in the second bedroom. It has a Jack & Jill bathroom with a double vanity. The Master Bedroom has french doors with a beautiful seasonal view of the Alpine Village and surrounding mountains, and a 26' flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a 32" HD TV.

An additional bathroom is located on the main level with a very small shower (1 1/2' W x 3' L) which is useful if you have a teenager, or a small adult. There's a laundry room with washer and dryer, and we provide the laundry detergent as well.

An outside camera is in place on the front of the townhouse facing the street for your protection and ours.

While a car is recommended to see all of the sights surrounding Helen, the downtown area is within five-minutes walking distance from the townhouse, ONLY if you're okay with one moderately steep hill when walking back. Most guests prefer to drive which takes two-minutes.

We provide maps, a travel guide, flyers of local attractions, and local restaurant menus for your convenience.

A signed Rental Agreement must be received within 24 hours of booking or access will not be granted on arrival day. We have a maximum stay limit of 14 nights. We will text or email you the door access code on the day of arrival.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Signed rental agreement must be submitted to owner within 24 hours to complete reservation. We have a maximum stay limit of 14 nights.
We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
Pets are not allowed due to severe allergies of a family member, and many of our guests. This rule includes ESA's.

Located in Helen, this holiday home is in the city centre and near a water park. Nora Mill Granary and Hardman Farm Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Alpine Mini Golf and Sautee Nacoochee Vineyards. Helen Arts & Heritage Center and Helen Tubing & Helen Water Park are also worth visiting. Kayaking and water tubing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding and hiking nearby.

Wonderful location! Very close to town, but still peaceful! The townhome was spotless and so very comfortable! Communication with the host was wonderful! Beautiful view from the sunroom. The condo was very clean. We never had a question as there were notes everywhere. The hosts supplied coffee and creamer. You can walk to town if you can climb up the hill to the condo (I did). Spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. Plenty of bedding and towels. I would definitely stay again. My husband and I are both from Georgia and love the Northeast Georgia Mountains. We moved to the area fourteen years ago to be near our cabin rental in Helen, and in 2014, we decided to purchase this additional property for others to enjoy as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

The Reihenhaus is in downtown Helen overlooking the Alpine Village and is surrounded by the beauty of the mountains which makes it such a peaceful and relaxing area that we very much wanted to own. The view is right outside the sunroom windows and the screen porch.

What makes this property unique

The main benefit of this home which captured our attention is the fact that you can look down from the ridgetop and view the Alpine Village. It's especially beautiful at night when all of the village lights are glowing in the dark. It's great to watch the balloon races in June, and to hear the music during the long Oktoberfest celebration. We also like the lay-out of the home and especially the sunroom.
