We enjoyed staying here very much, we had warm weather and relaxed on the deck much of the time. Full sized bed did not fit 2 people but we were able to spread out. Nothing fancy about this place, no a/c but we managed fine with fans.
The property could use a good cleaning, but the bedding was fresh and clean. The property manager was very attentive and even brought us fire wood to last our entire stay. Everything was in working order. Water was hot, and electric, wifi, and gas grill all worked well. As others reviewed, if you're looking for a 5 star resort, this isn't it. But other than mattresses needing updated, all was as expected.
We had a great time! it was everything we expected. If your looking for the Ritz go somewhere else. This cottage had everything we were hoping for.We are looking forward to next year!
Our cottage was adorable!!! Everything was very accommodating, cabinets fully stocked, comfortable beds, beautiful lake view and close proximity to everything we were there for. We can’t wait to come back!
Nice, small place to get away. Nice area, with easy access in and out. Good for small family.

It was very clean and I left it clean I hope. I did have a problem with outlets. Not enough of them! I had a very hard time finding ones that worked with my ipad. I even tried a new cable and kept saying not charging. All the outlets should be 3 pronged. The bed I picks wasn't too bad. The floor is not the best, not level room to room, I had to be very careful. At night it did get cold, and I didn't know how to get it warmed up. I had asked if I could a day sooner and was told it was ok, but when I arrived people where still there. I did find a place for that night. Saddly I will not be using that place again.

Rustic Fishing Camp
We had a nice stay at this property..the property is as listed an older fishing camp....but was good for the price. If you are looking for a rustic older fishing camp to stay it is what you are looking for ..no air conditioning which at this time of year is something that is very nice to have.
We enjoyed watching the Beavers swimming and splashing in the creek behind the house while we sat around the camp fire.

Very rustic. It felt like a time portal to 1960-something, which was fun in a way. I didn't feel comfortable sitting on the furniture as it was pretty gnarly. The bathroom smelled really funny, there must have been a lot of air in the water pipes. But it did seem like they cleaned it well. I appreciated that even the dishes matched the era of the house. That was kind of cute. For for someone who may have grown up in the 60s or 70s, it would be a really cool memory lane. :) the price was very reasonable and there was a little porch overlooking the canal that went to the lake. That was really lovely.
Well situated to visit Chautauqua and Jamestown. Enjoyed kayaking. With some TLC, this place could be adorable. Windows and screens were quite dirty; otherwise clean.
We came to fish, the cottage is our of the 50s and a true lake cottage feel which i enjoyed. It is a short walk to the dock where we docked our own fishing boat. Have booked 3 times in lasy 2 yearsthe last l
Nested between an inlet ( back yard) and lake ( one row ahead), the rental was clean and quiet. The cottage is from the 1950’s with many original furnishings.
