Had family Thanksgiving there and kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. House was spacious with room for everyone to relax and enjoy our trip. Lots of board games which we enjoyed while watching the snow fall.
Love the location and the lake was not busy. House was clean, lots of sleeping space, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.
Our second time staying here and we hope to stay again! Great house, great fishing and we love the trips into Marquette.

Beautiful place that provided pretty much everything you needed…a very well stocked kitchen, plenty of life jackets, floaties for the lake, smore sticks, 2 refrigerators, kayaks and stand up boards…plenty of room for our party of 13, clean with easy check in/out.

So glad you had a great time with your family and that you enjoy our slice of heaven as much as we do!! Take care and hope you consider coming back again in the future.
Surrounded by lake in front of house and in back- beautiful lake views. Clean and well equipped. Perfect set up for a group. Rooms spacious and loved the back sunroom overlooking lake. We arrived to a wonderful welcome gift of local coffee, cinnamon toast, UP chocolate bars- and a six pack of a local ale. Hope to come back again during the summer this time.
This is a beautiful home full of personal touches to make anyone’s stay perfect! Communication was excellent. The home was clean and cohesive. Awesome place to enjoy the beautiful Bass Lake. My family had a lot of fun fishing and kayaking. Wish we had more time at the house but were in the area for our daughter’s wedding so we’re gone quite a bit. Definitely would love to come back.
Had a great time on the lake. Very cool property having water on both sides! Beautiful peaceful lake.

Thank you for the nice review. So glad you enjoyed your time at the lake, thank you for being great guests. Very cool having water on both sides, feels like two lakes! Take care and hope you will consider being a repeat guest.
The title says it all, we had all the comforts of home while being able to roll out of bed and jump in the lake.Large kitchen full stocked with pots, pans, large fridge and an extra fridge in the garage. The deck is amazing, plenty of room to live outside. The water is very accessible with minimum stairs and hand railing. We wish we could have stayed longer.
We loved this house. It was lovely, clean, comfortable, in a quiet location on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed fishing in the lake. The house is close enough to Marquette that we were able to enjoy the Pictured Rocks boat tour and take advantage of dinners in some of the great restaurants in Marquette. Wonderful vacation!

So glad we could accommodate you and your group. I loved that you enjoyed our place on the lake like we do and Marquette too. There's so much to see and do here in the area, feel free to come back!
The property worked great for our snowmobile group. The host was amazing and responded to our last minute request to stay and also made arrangements for parking our trucks and trailers nearby in a secure area. The sleeping accommodations met our needs, although ttwo of the rooms lacked good heating for winter lodging

So glad we could accommodate. Thanks for the great communication. Sorry for the heating issue, we are fixing that for this next winter if you are thinking of coming back!
This house was perfect for our needs. I especially loved the sun room off the back. I could sit outside and enjoy sitting on the deck which is super close to the to the lake, but still feel part of whatever was going on in the house. They provide everything you could need: fishing poles, floats for the lake, linens, beach towels, bath towels, bikes, pots, pans, a grill, kayaks, a SUP, a paddle boat, life jackets, etc. My son caught a 27 in pike fishing off a kayak. The kitchen was extremely well stocked compared to other places we've rented. Close town and centrally located for day trips to Marquette, Munsing, etc. They even had a pontoon available to rent for an extra fee. Already booked our stay for next year!
We stayed in this house during the winter and it was spectacular! We were able to ice skate on the frozen lake and drink hot chocolate by the fire place. But the house has everything you need for the summer! It is also very well stocked if you like to cook. The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 8! Looking forward to coming next summer!

So glad we could accommodate you and your family!! You were great guests and would rent to you again anytime, feel free to reach out. Take care!!
This hidden gem was the perfect retreat for our busy family to unwind and reconnect. We took in all the amazing features of the home and also the beautiful lake we were surrounded by. It was close enough to Gwinn that a quick trip for food or pizza was easy (and delicious). It was the reset we needed after a very busy school year.

Absolutely amazing property!! From start to finish we LOVED everything about this rental. Dana, the property manager, really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was 5 star! The lake was gorgeous. There were 13 total in our group and we had plenty of room to gather and also to spread out if we wanted to. Highly recommend this property!! Beautiful vacation.

This place was amazing with the water on both sides. It offered something for everyone in our group kyaking, fishing, bonfires. Parking was a bit tight as we had four trucks and trailers with side by sides but we were able to make it work. We had a wonderful time riding the trails during the day and hanging out playing cards and sitting around the campfire at night. Would love to come back during the summer and again next fall.
a great hangout spot

The home was very clean and inviting. A very nice welcome of local products was a great touch. We had a group of 6 adults and 2 children and everyone had a wonderful time even though it was a bit rainy . The kids caught many small bluegills off the dock .They kept the local bait shop busy. The adults enjoyed the beautiful deck and had a few nice sunsets from the gazebo. The water was shallow enough for the smaller kids to enjoy with a sandy type bottom .The home itself was quiet, with a large livingroom and loved the back sunroom . The kitchen was well stocked and clean . We grilled out a few times and loved the big dining room table where everyone could eat together. We also went to Marquette several times for shopping, meals and cocktails. Would definitely recommend staying here and would come back ourselves again .
Great location. Lovely home. Many more amenities than I expected. Saw the Northern Lights for the first time in my life. Kids loved the water and kayaks. Larry’s store and the bait shop were convenient and helpful.
Could have used hand rails on steps and front door.

We recently purchased the Bass Lake Retreat. I grew up in Marquette and spent a lot of time on lakes around Gwinn. My wife is half Yooper and enjoyed summers in the UP as a kid. We now have our own family and live in lower Michigan, but spend a lot of time in the UP. We have family on Bass Lake and have fallen in love with it visiting over the last few years. When we heard this place was for sale we jumped at the opportunity to have a place of our own on this beautiful lake. We plan on making countless memories here. Hope you, your friends and family can make some memories of your own!
