We had wonderful stay, the property was just as described. Communication was great and the house had a nice homey feel to it. The place was clean, spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. We absolutely loved it!
We had an amazing time at this property. The location was great for canal Park/61 and to get around Duluth. The host was amazing and had great ideas for things to do. Was a perfect landing spot to make the most out of our trip!
We used the house as a home base during our destination wedding in Duluth. We brought our dog with us and were happy that the streets were perfect for long walks! We had everything we needed in the house and the hosts even left us a wedding gift! We'll never forget our stay there!
We had a great stay. Hosts were amazing, informative, and in contact with us answering any questions we had prior to and during our stay. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids. Location was great for getting around Duluth. Would stay here again.
Was a good location and walking distance to the lake (about 10 blocks). Did not stay at the house much since we were out and about but did have everything we needed.
Location was perfect. Ample sleeping space. Only downfall for our family is gramma doesn’t do stairs well and the bedrooms and bathroom were upstairs so they checked into a hotel, but that wasn’t the fault of the host, I didn’t read carefully enough. Will keep this in mind for future trips to Duluth! Just was very communicative and helpful!!

Oh I feel so badly that they had to stay at a hotel! WE hope. you come back again!
Quiet street, comfy beds, clean house, a garage to park in, and top notch communication with the property owner! We had a great stay and would definitely go back again!
Cute house set for a family stay! Everything we needed, family games, lots of places to lounge. Close to everything, great places to eat, fun exploring and great north shore sites!
Nice property. Plenty of room. Very squeaky wooden floors and stairs. A dog (In a kennel) next door would just bark at you incessantly if you were outside. Place was clean and comfortable.

Thank you for the review. Yes the house is from 1908 and has original hard wood floors, most of those will make noise. We ask people to let us know if they need anything, had you let us know we could have talked to the neighbors about their dog, they are happy to put it inside if it bothers anyone. I lived there for ten years and they are very nice people.
About the host
Hosted by Wayne Graves
Unlike the companies that own lots of vacation rentals, we just own two and we do it to make ends meet. Wayne works in a grocery store and Eve suffered a job ending concussion 14 years ago. Our rentals are priced lower than most, before the site fees, because we wanted to provide the opportunity for people to enjoy the area without breaking the bank. We are both avid Silent Sports Enthusiasts who enjoy this magnificent outdoor playground of Duluth on a daily basis. Eve is originally from Southern Wisconsin and a huge Badger and Packer fan. Wayne is from the Proctor area which is just outside of Duluth. We Mountain bike, road bike, paddle, run, row, Nordic ski and do anything else that is silently powered by us in the outdoors on a daily basis. Eve wrote articles for Silent Sports Magazine for 20 years along with blogging on Northlandrunner. In addition, she has been the top ski trail reporter for Skinnyski for a few years! Wayne has been working for Super One stores for forty years and enjoys his job! Eve who was formerly a teacher and accountant, now coaches adults who are beginners and those who like to go slowly in running roads, trails, and Nordic skiing. Both Eve and Wayne officiated at the state Nordic and Cross Country meets for decades and used to volunteer for all of Grandma's events for two decades. Eve also times a lot of silent sports events, takes photos at many of them, and puts a few on. We enjoy sharing our knowledge of the trails with others!
Why they chose this property
We lived here until recently when we moved ten miles away to be able to walk out the front door and into several parks, the Superior Hiking Trail, and have some land. It is really close to the lake and downtown along with many trails, parks and so much more!
What makes this property unique
This property is centrally located and has safe indoor storage for all those Silent Sports toys along with a waxing area and bench for Nordic skis. UMD, St. Scholastica, Chester Bowl, Bagley and Lake Superior are all within a mile of this house! Our website details how close we are to so many other outdoor playgrounds!
