Villa Le Rocce, From late spring through early fall Elba, the main Tuscan Island is an extremlely attractive location to visit. With the beautiful, crystalline sea as main attraction, it can also offer classic Tuscan countryside sights with vineyards, cypress and pine trees, making the landscape a unique scenery. Capoliveri, placed on top of a hill with breathtaking sea-views and surrounded by fortified walls, is one of the most interesting corners on the Island. Once an Etruscan fortress, the village is nowadays a jewel rich in nice restaurants, cafes and several craft shops. During summer time it also offers plenty of interesting events like concerts, markets and eno-gastronomic appointments. Madonna delle Grazie lays just under Capoliveri, on an amazing panoramic position in front of the beautiful gulf and above the beach from which it takes the name. From any point on the lovely terraced garden the views are enchanting and the several relaxing and shaded outdoor areas have been created to provide little oasis where to sink into oblivion. The remarkable swimming pool has been placed in one of the most panoramic points and its infinity end side gives the idea of simply being in the middle of the sea. The house is furnished in a smart yet sober marine style, with the particular feature of large French windows opening on to the terraces and garden which gives an idea of continuity with the outside. The accommodation is made of a main house and an extra apartment, on a lower level, giving the opportunity to a large group to retain some independence. A completely private access (made of steps) leads to the sea, where a nice covered platform has been installed and furnished to recover from the sun during the hottest days. At short distance is also possible to discover the pretty famous sandy beach called "Innamorata", a magic half-moon between rocky green hills and the beautiful sea. The caretakers live on the premises in an apartment with a separate entrance and are available for extra services.
