The cottage is located just 100 metres from the sea, within the vast private grounds of Capo d'Arco, a promontory 5 km from Porto Azzurro and 9 km from Capoliveri—both of which are very lively in the evening. Here, however, you can enjoy a very peaceful and relaxing setting.
Nestled in a 6,000-square-meter garden rich with Mediterranean scrub, centuries-old olive trees, maritime pines, and cypress trees, and overlooking the cliffs, it features a relaxation area with a spectacular private infinity pool filled with seawater that drops straight down to the bay, offering a 180° view of the sea. It is equipped with comfortable armchairs, loungers, deck chairs, and a shower. It is shared with the 4–6 guests staying in the Main Villa located on the property.
It is not suitable for very active children.
On clear days, the view of the coast from the garden overlooking Punta Ala extends as far as the Argentario, the Island of Giglio, Montecristo, and sometimes Giannutri.
A natural spectacle is the rising of the full moon at the beginning of its waning phase and the starry sky unspoiled by artificial lights.

Transfer from the Port of Piombino
— I recommend the “Toremar” ferries to Rio Marina. They run less frequently than the ones to Portoferraio, but the crossing and the drive home are shorter.
- I recommend arriving having already done at least some of your grocery shopping. There are several supermarkets in Portoferraio, Porto Azzurro, or Rio Marina. Don’t forget to bring bottled water, as the tap water is not safe to drink.
- street parking is available just a short walk away.
