Great location for family holiday

We had a lovely vacation in this house in Tamariu. The house was perfect for our family with small children and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday - nice garden and swimming pool, well-equipped kitchen, enough bedrooms etc. The location is great, quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to Tamariu beach and good restaurants, good hiking routes etc. We would love to stay there some time again.

Excellent holiday home

We stayed for the second time and had another excellent experience! Fully equipped kitchen with lots of cutlery and amenities even including basics as some salt, pepper, oil etc to allow proper cooking. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms and beautiful garden, pool and terraces. Perfect place to relax with friends or family and great location to explore the Costa brava. The garden is closed so very convenient for pets too. It is located a bit outside Tamariu requiring a car to go to the beach since it is up a steep hill but otherwise perfect and happy stay! Excellent and kind host.

Family stay with teens

The home is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The pool and terras are great! Our children are a teens and because of that, the house was more on the smaller side for us. There were many ants in the house. It is a cozy house and very clean but we missed the comfort of a larger house with bigger living room, bedrooms etc…

In need of refurbishment

Good location, pretty village but.. The upstairs bedroom is damp and unpleasant. The motorised blinds- the largest stuck down and the down switch shorts out the electricity for the whole property. How do you turn off the outside lights? Generally the property need a complete refurbishment.

Low value for money

Many ants in kitchen and bathrooms, very hard to keep away. Very noisy mobile airco in bedroom above. Just 1 airco on first floor for living room and both bedrooms. Pool is not cleaned during 1,5 week stay. Parasol does not fit in parasol-foot, flies away with little wind. Although very nice cleaning ladies, it was not good cleaned. All above makes it too expensive. Tamariu and it’s surroundings is amazing although!

Nach vorheriger Anfrage hatte man uns problemlos einen Early-CheckIn ermöglicht. Die Unterkunft ist zudem gut ausgestattet. Die Küche ist vollständig an Utensilien und draußen gibt es zudem einen tollen Gas-Grill .

Tres agreable et bien equipé.. la piscine est froide (la mer est plus chaude). Une pompe a chaleur ne serai pas du luxe.. c’est noyre deuxieme sejour ici et nous reviendrons!

Séjour du 14 au 20 juillet

Magnifique séjour, maison avec terrain, terrasse, solarium et piscine alternant zones d'ombre et de soleil toute la journée, a 1h de Gerone et Barcelone, 15 minutes de Begur et palafrugelle. Pour les voitures électriques prévoir de charger avant d'arriver a Tamariu. Quelques bornes de recharge 22 et 60 kW a palafrugelle.

Gîte : bien situé, propre et au calme !

Excellent séjour à Tamariu. Le gîte est très bien situé (on va à la plage à pied), très propre, super équipé et surtout au calme. Nous recommandons !

Schön Landschaft, Haus aber muss etwas getan werden

Schöne, ruhige Lage. Muss unserer Meinung nach engmaschiger Pool kontrolliert werden, Polster außen sollten erneuert werden. Außenanlage vor Pool ebenfalls . Haus Tip Top sauber . Stand schon in vorherigen Bewerbungen.

Bon séjour / un seul inconvénient notable

Points positifs: - emplacement à 800m de la plage. - maison sympatique , bon équipement avec piscine et terrasses très agréables. - superbe région avec ses belles criques. Le seul bémol: de trop nombreuses fourmis dans la maison !!! Je tiens à préciser, que je sais que beaucoup de maison ont des fourmis sur la costa brava (en voir quelques unes n'a rien de choquant) , que je ne suis pas myrméchophobe, que je suis pas phobique de manière générale; nous n'avons laissé aucune nourriture en apparence. Mais la cuisine, la salle de bain, deux chambres sur 3 , étaient envahis jusqu'à aller dans la literie (elles ne piquent pas mais c'est gênant , et répulsif pour ma fille de 12 ans); elles sont infiltrées dans certaines jointures, meubles, dans des interstices à la base des baies vitrées ; passer l'aspirateur régulierement , et les insecticides n'ont qu'un effet ponctuel. C'est la seule déception un peu stressante au quotidien, qui pour moi,necessite un traitement curatif; le reste est parfait comme je l'ai écrit.

très agréable maison bien située et parfaite pour une famille

maison très bien située dans un quartier calme. la plage est à 800m et près de plein de chemin de randonnée, parfait aussi pour ceux qui aiment courir. La maison est climatisée, une en haut et une en bas. Il y a 3 chambres avec des lits doubles, pas très pratique quand on a plusieurs enfants, surtout des ados, il manque de lits simples. Les équipements sont bien, petit regret il manque une bonne machine à café. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. La vue est superbe et la piscine parfaite, le jardin est très beau aussi. Nous recommandons.

Très beau séjour

Notre 3ème séjour à Tamariu chez Patrice !!! L endroit est toujours magnifique. Pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour se rendre à la plage. Un vrai plus en pleine saison. Chaque année des améliorations sont apportées dans la maison.Cette année ce fut l installation d un climatiseur dans la chambre du haut. Top quand les températures grimpent (le bas est déjà climatisé). Si vous avez un problème sur place Jackie est très réactive.

Villa agréable, bien située et bien équipée

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Tamariu, la villa est fonctionnelle, bien équipée et bien située. Il semble il y avoir un problème récurrent avec quelques invasions de fourmis, mais rien de bien méchant. Le propriétaire est très réactif.

I am a company manager. Our family (with two children) rented in Tamariu for 8 years before purchasing this house in 2007.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this residence, even before buying it. We loved its location 750 m away from the beach, its magnificent creeks, the peacefulness amidst the trees, and the nearby hiking trail for walks in the pine forests.
This is a beautiful area!

What makes this property unique

The house was fully renovated (incl. interior) in 2013. We also built a fenced, salt-water swimming pool.
In the fenced garden, you have a choice between two large terraces. The house also offers a secure garage.
