Near the picturesque medieval village of LAURAC-LE-GRAND, the old ancient, high-place of the catharism with its church in the typical baroque hispano-Southern style of the area with it's vestiges of fortification (XI, XIII, XVI century) you will find the ESTATE OF ROUJOUX, nestled in the hills surrounded by the vast plain of Lauragais.

ISOLATION, TRANQUILITY and ESCAPISIM GUARANTEED !

A house with the typical charm of the 70s with all the modern comforts of today for a total change of scenery !!!

It is the perfect way to unwind, to have great WALKS , a BARBECUE or a game of PETANQUE.

The house fresh in summer, comfortable and is very well equipped.

Peace and quiet

The house is very spacious and M and Mme Grilleres are very friendly and helpful. However the kitchen and bathroom were quite basic and dated and if all the family had turned up then I think it would have been difficult to cook for 8 with the "oven" that was provided. The location is very peaceful as the nearest village is about 2 miles away and the nearet town about 10 miles. One thing I would add is that the house is in the middle of a working farmyard so not that private however

Bonjour Cerys et merci pour vos commentaires Nous avons sciemment fait des choix, ainsi de conserver une décoration au charme typique des années 70 avec tout le confort moderne d'aujourd'hui pour le dépaysement total . La maison fait partie d'une ferme de 100ha. Nous cultivons des céréales et des tournesols. avec possibilité de faire un petit tour de tracteur et pour votre intimité, vous bénéficiez d'un jardin privatif ombragé avec salon de jardin. pour ce qui est de la cuisine c est une rôtissoire comme précisé en photo et nous louons jusqu'à 10 personnes sans soucis depuis des années, donc ne soyez pas inquiet sur ce point si vous souhaitez revenir et s'il y a un soucis quelconque, nous sommes là

Séjour très agréable. Endroit superbe, maison de caractères, grande piscine tres bien entretenue, hotes très accueillants. L'endroit est tres bien pour l'accueil de jeunes enfants: eloigné de la circulation, silencieux avec de nombreux jeux pour les enfants.

Accueil au top !

Les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse incroyable, le paysage à couper le souffle. Le gîte est peut-être rustique mais on y est bien, toujours au frais et nos vacances ont été magnifiques grâce à tout cela réuni. Il y a tellement de plus que ça efface les quelques moins du gîte. Je vous conseille les apéros sur les crêtes au coucher du soleil.

Sejour fantastique

Nous avons passe une superbe semaine. La maison est tres agreable et tres calme: on y dort tres bien. Les proprietaires sont tres gentils. La compagne alentours est tres belle avec beaucoup de promenades a faire. La piscine est grande, propre et tres bien entretenue. Il y a des jeux pour les enfants, une grande table pour manger dehors, une vaste esplanade ombragee pour le farniente. Bref, tout est reuni pour des vacances reussies.

Escapade cathare

Des propriétaires charmants, accueillants et réactifs avec qui il a été très agréable d'échanger. L'emplacement des Roujoux est parfait pour qui veut rayonner et découvrir le Lauragais et plus largement le Pays cathare. Nous avons tous aimé cet hébergement : le mobilier de jardin installé à un endroit idéal pour ne pas souffrir du soleil à toute heure de la journée, les pièces (chambres comprises) spacieuses, la cuisine équipée, les plus comme la fourniture des torchons, draps et serviettes de toilette qui encombrent habituellement toujours les bagages. Ne parlons pas de la piscine très bien entretenue qui a fait notre bonheur par les chaleurs actuelles et plus particulièrement le régal de nos petits-enfants et enfants. Nous recommanderons volontiers ce lieu à tous ceux et toutes celles qui souhaitent découvrir cette région. Merci à Danièle et Fernand pour leur accueil.

Un séjour très agréable

Les propriétaires, 3 générations d'agriculteurs, nous ont accueillit avec beaucoup de gentillesse (et merci à eux pour le cadeau de bienvenue). Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Pour certains, il y a longtemps que nous n'avions pas aussi bien dormit. Merci aussi pour le feux de bois qui nous a bien réchauffé pour notre première soirée. Je conseille les balades et le panorama alentours (il suffit de sortir de la maison pour être sur un chemin de randonnée) 360° avec vue sur les Pyrénées. Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié les extérieurs de la maison,

Ancienne ferme isolée dans le lauragais

La ferme est rénovée, mais le mobilier interne est sommaire.existence d’un poêle à bois et d’une cheminée, malheureusement non utilisables car non ramonés. Il fait en général très chaud, ce qui n’a pas été le cas pour nous. La piscine extérieure est dite chauffée, mais seulement quand elle a atteint 20 degrés, ce qui n’était pas non plus le cas pour nous vu le temps. Le jardin extérieur est très bien tenu, les propriétaires charmants .les paysages sont très beaux.La ferme est très isolée, mais parfaite pour faire des balades à pied en partant du gîte. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour familial,au calme.

Calme et superbe vue

Pour les amateurs de campagne et de tranquillité, maison au bout d'un chemin, les seuls voisins sont les charmants propriétaires, Danielle et Fernand ainsi que leur fils grâce auquel les enfants ont pu faire un tour de tracteur ! Grand plus de cette maison : moustiquaire à toutes les fenêtres ! Belle piscine avec plage pour les plus petits, nettoyée chaque matin par Fernand ! Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour.

Summer holiday

Very nice location if you want peace and quiet. Some of the facilities are a bit dated, but if you can handle that you have a lovely gite. The pools was lovely, and perfect for the kids. M and madam were more than helpful.

les penderies avec les cintres sont dans les 3 armoires dans les chambres, peut être n avez vous pas oser les ouvrir. la clé de la salle de bain du bas ayant disparue, elle a sans doute voulu à son tour partir en voyage avec les vacanciers, le verrou est installé
