70m2 independent cottage completely renovated in 2014 and refurbished in 2017; fully equipped, in a place called Penines 4.5 km from Mendon.

Located on the first floor of the owner's house on a raised garden accessible to tenants on 800m2.
Garden furniture, barbecue, parasol, sunbathing. Kitchen-living room, shower room wc, 2 bedrooms with 140/190 bed, comfortable living room (possibility of cot, chair and baby bath).
Central heating and electric towel dryer. Washing machine.

Very close to auray (Gulf of Morbihan) and the ocean coast (from Etel to Carnac with many sandy beaches) Four mountain bikes are available.

Very welcoming and helpful hosts. The property is the top floor of their house but private and spacious with all amenities needed and a lovely outside seating area. The huge outdoor garden overlooks the estuary and islands and is beautiful and peaceful. The village is two miles by car with a small supermarket and patisserie etc. Friday market. Many white sand beaches, rivers, villages with markets and historic sites within half hour. Oyster farms with shellfish to visit on the doorstep

The photographs do not do full justice to this wonderful location. The peace and tranquillity are beyond compare. The hosts are present but unobtrusive, available if needed. The whole environs, in effect with water barely a stone’s throw away on three sides, add to the sense of escaping from the world. At the same time, there is a superb creperie a mere 10 mins walk away and the local supermarket a five min drive. If you love being close to water, peace and quiet, the sounds of birds (especially cuckoo!) this is the place for you.

Wohnung hübsch eingerichtet, sehr freundlicher Empfang. Fahrräder, wie im Angebot angegeben, nicht vorhanden, wurden umgehend bereit gestellt. Die Gegend ist sehr hübsch, jedoch ist der Fluss, an dem das Haus liegt, eine Ria, d.h. das Wasser kommt und geht mit Flut und Ebbe. Das ist wichtig zu wissen, denn meistens gibt's kein Wasser, bei Hochwasser ist das Wasser knietief, für uns zum Schwimmen zu niedrig und sehr schlammiger Untergrund. Die Wohnung liegt im Dachgeschoss, das war bekannt, leider war gerade eine Hitzewelle (40 Grad) und die Wohnung war immer um 30 Grad aufgeheizt, auch Nachts. Es gibt keine Aircondition, nur 1 Ventilator. Mein Fazit: sehr schöne Wohnung, schöne Gegend, aber nicht im Sommer.

Roberte und Francois sind wohl die bester Vermieter, die ich in meinem langen Urlauberleben kennengelernt habe. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig, besitzt einen eigenen Zugang zum Fluß (auch hier mit Ebbe und Flut!), einen Außensitzplatz mit Essgelegenheit, Grill, usw. Die Wohnung ist prima und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und noch mehr. Geschirr, Gläster, Tassen, Besteck, Küchengeräte, Töpfe, Pfannen - alles prima. Die Einweisung und Schlüsselübergabe waren perfekt. Die Lage ist optimal, um entweder sich zu erholen oder die Region zu erkunden. In 30 - 60 Minuten ist man bei den bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Südküste. Sollte das noch nicht reichen, befindet sich ein exquisiter Austern-Muscheln-Restaurant (direkt aus dem Wasser) 5 Gehminuten entfernt - besser gehts nicht. Der Bäcker und ein Supermarkt befinden sich an der Zufahrt zu Locoal (5 min). Alles in allem eine tolle Wohnung und Umgebung mit spitzenmäßigen Vermietern. Danke

Wir verbrachten zum zweiten Mal unseren Sommerurlaub in dieser Ferienwohnung. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gîte de Peninez et nous serions bien resté quelques jours de plus ! Roberte et François sont très sympathiques et prévenants. Nous avions pleins de petites attentions pour notre arrivée (tardive) et nous nous sommes vraiment sentis accueillis. Le gîte, très bien équipé, est à 30 mn en moyenne de beaucoup de sites que nous nous sommes empressés de découvrir, et pour les jours un peu pluvieux il y avait suffisamment de livres et de jeux sur place pour attendre l'éclaircie. Mais notre coup de coeur c'est le coin fauteuils au bord de l'eau avec la vue changeante sur la Ria et la sérenité qui se dégage de ce lieu... idéal pour le café ou l'apéro ou juste lire tranquille ... Bref nous espérons pouvoir revenir :)

Exceptionnel ! Le gîte est parfait, très bien équipé il ne manque rien. Il est très bien placé pour vadrouiller et visiter la région la journée et rentrer au calme le soir.Le jardin est immense et la petite plage au fond du jardin parfaite pour les explorateurs en herbe ! Ajoutons à tout cela la gentillesse extrême des propriétaires et vous avez le panachage parfait pour un séjour au top. Comme c'est si bien écrit au gîte : "le paradis c'est ici" !!!

Pour des vacances au calme absolu mais juste à 1/4h de toutes les commodités. Roberte a le sourire et une grande gentillesse. Hôtesse arrangeante, rien ne manque dans ce joli gîte tres confortable, d'une propreté parfaite et super équipé. Des vélos à disposition, un enorme jardin superbe et une petite plage avec sable joliment amenagee pour vos BBQ ou petit apero du soir sur la Ria, aucune voiture pour gacher cette vue imprenable. La baignade y est sympa (prevoyez des chaussures adaptées pour l'eau)Amoureux de la nature... foncez !Merci Roberte pour votre accueil, vous nous avez permis de nous sentir chez nous dès les 1eres minutes.

Sehr saubere und gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit Sitzplatz im Garten. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, die leider nur französisch sprechen. Mit Gesten, einzelnen Worten und Übersetzer kein Problem. Man muss nur wissen, dass man zum Restaurant ein Stück fahren muss. Wir haben bei unseren Ausflügen gegessen. Auray, Vannes und Quiberon sind gut zu erreichen. Austern gibt es gleich nebenan. Ein Bäcker ist nicht weit weg.Für Leute, die Ruhe suchen ideal!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in einer perfekt ausgestatteten Wohnung. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett. Die Wohnung ist zwar im Obergeschoss des Hauses der Vermieter, verfügt jedoch über einen eigenen Eingang, ist also total unabhängig. Vor der Tür ist eine schöne Terrasse rundum noch Wiese und ein eignerr Sitzplatz direkt am Fluss.
