A newly renovated luxury central Morzine self-catered apartment created for winter 2018 and finished to a very high standard.

Chalet Rive Gauche apartment is one of just two apartments in a stand alone chalet, 5 minutes walk from the town centre. With two bedrooms (each can be a twin or kingsize double) and two bathrooms, plus a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen with high quality sofa bed, up to six guests can be accommodated comfortably.

The spacious open plan living space has two double glass doors that access a terrace the length of the building with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You can even watch the weekly firework display on Pleney from the comfort of the apartment! A flatscreen TV has UK satellite TV and there is internet access throughout.

The Chalet Rive Gauche kitchen is modern gloss white, and fully equipped. With the hob located on the kitchen island, that also incorporates a bar and stools, the designated cook is not left out of the action. A free welcome pack is supplied with basics to start you off and the supermarket is five minutes walk away. A cocktail scandinave wooden table has comfy cushioned seating for meal times, and long nights chatting around a bottle of wine.

The squishy leather sofa is an inviting place to rest after a tough day on the slopes.

Each bedroom can be arranged as a twin or kingsize double and both have glass doors leading onto a second terrace the length of the building. One bedroom has an ensuite shower room. The other has an ensuite bath and shower room, that can also be accessed from the lounge. Both bathrooms are supplied with high quality Villeroy & Boch fittings and Hansgrohe rain showers.

A large private hallway has plenty of space for coats and shoes and each bedroom and the lounge can be accessed from it. The garage has storage space and hooks for all your equipment, and a handy drying room. There is also a washing machine and dryer that is available for use. We can also help arrange ski hire, babysitting or nanny services and recommend restaurants or anything else you need.

This is also a perfect chalet for mountain bikers in summer as the garage offers plenty of bike storage and a hose is provided.

The apartment is perfectly situated, a 5 minute walk into Morzine centre, so it's easy to get into the shops, bars and restaurants, but return to a calm, quiet residential part of town away from late night noise.

To access ski lifts the easiest way is to use the free bus. The bus line A to Prodains (direct access to Avoriaz) is a few minutes walk away, and then a 10 minute bus trip to the express telepherique. Taking the same bus in the opposite direction will get you to the Pleney lift in 5 minutes. Alternatively, the line D for Pleney and Super Morzine stops just outside the chalet, seconds from the door, and should be a little under 10 minutes to get to Super Morzine and just over 10 for Pleney. Otherwise you can walk to either Super Morzine or Pleney in about 15 minutes - they are each 1km away.

We are able to offer discounted ski hire, with skis and boots delivered and fitted at the chalet. For summer guests, we are members of the Multi Pass scheme, so you can get a special pass that for €4 a day gives free access to lifts, pools and more!
