Very clean, location to site seeing activities, everything you need and then some for kitchen, sleeping and a cozy fire outside at night. Perfect for our twonight stay...and our very well trained pups to stay
Clean, pet friendly, nice host, very quiteThe screen door could use a little wd40/track cleaned. The one mattress maybe getting old but overall great stay and would recommend.
What a gem in the woods, literally. Just far enough away from town to relax in a quiet setting. The home was very welcoming and cozy! Outside included patio furniture, lighting and a fire pit. It was a fantastic experience, host responded quickly with any questions that we had. Would stay here again!

Thank you Marcus! You were a great first renter and always welcome back!
Checking in and out was super easy!! Messaged Brandie that the battery in the smoke alarm was chirping upon arrival - within a few minutes they were there taking care of it! We brought our fur baby and they him a couple welcome treats! Wish it would have been a little easier to walk our dog — no path or trails without walking on the highway Would highly recommend and stay again!

Never thought of it but you could have walked him all the way up the road, behind our shed, and in the woods behind the camper. Thanks for the feedback. If someone with dogs stays again I will think to let them know.
What a nice place to stay. It was a clean and cozy place to stay and so nicely decorated. It had all the amenities we needed. Wasn't quite sure how to work the Keurig but soon figured it out. It was in a quiet campground. We could hear traffic from nearby road but nothing that would keep us from staying here again. Bedroom was a little tight getting around in but still not enough to keep us from coming back. It had a nice patio where we hung out most of the time we were there. We definitely will come back. Cute and comfortable gem!
This place is great! We loved everything about it...except for the issue that we had with the stove.
The good:
Super cute place being decorated the way that it is. Beach/River theme and the place was very clean and stocked well
The location- it's outside of town in a campground with seasonal/long term campers. This is the first unit on the property and it was very appealing when pulling up. Cute lawn, a fire pit, grill, and a very nice patio area with some furniture. Rope lights surround the underside of the roof over the patio giving plenty of light at night to hang out and enjoy the evening weather! And it is close to Marquette. Right around the bluff in fact! So everything is close by that you would likely want to do in the area! Bloody Run, Yellow River Forest, Pikes Peak, etc all very close by.
The listing says 3 bedroom - which is not exactly accurate. This unit has a bedroom on the main level and a loft overlooking the main kitchen/dining/living area. Would be a great place for little kids to hang out/sleep, but adults would not be able to realistically hang out in this area - I suppose sleeping wouldn't be too terrible...just don't sit up in bed in the middle of the night.
The issue (and the reason for 4 stars vs 5)
My wife had started the burner on the stove (it is a gas unit) and after about a minute or so and the stove "popped" and a fire ball burst from under the pot she was boiling water in. My wife had been hoping to use the oven while here for an event.

We apologize again for the issue with the stove. We did have someone come in the week before and thought everything was ok. We appreciate the feedback.
