Gorgeous home away from home!

Everything about this newly renovated home was a five star plus stay! The owners were attentive, accommodating and paid attention to all of our needs and beyond. Beautiful safe neighborhood, close to everything we needed and the airport. We were made aware of the road noise and for us, that was something we could overlook. We stayed for two months and would definitely stay again! Thank you Bill and Larissa! We loved it

Awatukee Winter 2023

Our VRBO home was very nice. The back yard and pool area were exceptional and the neighborhood and neighbors were friendly. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had and made us feel very welcome. Everyone enjoyed their stay with us.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful and more than we could have hoped for. The owners were very helpful in getting us oriented and helping out if we had any questions - like heating the fabulous pool! Home away from home

I stayed in this lovely home while my house nearby was being renovated.The hosts were easy to communicate with--very responsive when I had questions, and the home had everything I needed. It is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. The convenience of being close to my home made it easy for me to check on the work being done.

Amazing Home!

I agree with the other reviews, this home truly is better than a 5 star resort! Not only is the house gorgeous and spacious but the private backyard area and pool are fantastic! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the location can't be beat. South mountain is within walking distance if your looking for outdoor adventure, and great dining and shopping are nearby as well. Everything about this house is top notch, also Bill was extremely helpful and pleasant which made our stay absolutely perfect. Our family had a wonderful time and highly recommend this property!

Just the Best!

You'll read these reviews and think how can any place be this great? But it's true! The home was just fantastic, both comfortable and beautifully presented! Ahwatukee Foothills Club West

A lovely and fully equipped home, with everything you could possibly need (and then some). The location is convenient to everything; including, shopping, restaurants, parks, trails, hospitals, urgent care, and the freeway and the airport. The home does back up to a main street that has some heavy traffic in the morning and evening hours. If and when we had an issue or questions, Bill was very responsive and accommodating. Overall this home was a lovely home.

Great Luxury Home!

This home is just wonderful -- all the amenities and more. We especially loved the library and the pool. The home is decorated with exquisite attention to detail and made us feel that we were spending time in a luxury resort. Everything was comfortable and super clean. We also appreciated that the home was fully stocked with paper products and cleaning products. Working with Bill and Larisa was a pleasure and they were quick to respond to any questions we had. Loved it!

We just returned from our one month stay in Bill and Larisa’s beautiful home. Over the years we have rented several homes on VRBO but this one was definitely the very best. Their home is extremely clean and well stock with most anything you may need. Can’t say enough about the comfortable beds too! The backyard is beautifully landscaped with several comfortable sitting areas. Even though the fabulous pool could have been easily heated, we chose not to since the weather was still a bit cool during our stay. Bill and Larisa were so easy to communicate with and were readily available to answer any questions we had. We are already looking forward to our stay there next year! Thank you Bill and Larisa for our fantastic winter get away!

Wonderful Vacation Rental

We spent the month of April in this home. We had family come and visit and we all enjoyed this property. Bill and Larisa made us feel right at home and once we unpacked, we were very comfortable. The property it self was very clean, modern and beautiful. Lots of room for everyone. We really wanted for nothing as the home is well equipped with towels, linens, kitchen supplies, excellent appliances, everything that you might need during your stay. The back yard was wonderful. Plenty of sun for those who wanted it and shade for those who didn't. The pool area was well used by everyone and could be heated as much as you wanted but we really didn't need to heat it much as it had a solar cover that kept the heat in over night. We love the location of this home as it is close to the things we love to do. That includes hiking, biking, golfing, shopping etc. We can't say enough about how accommodating Bill and Larisa are. We hope to rent this immaculate property again soon and highly recommend it.

Enjoy the sun and relax.

My Husband and I run off to Phoenix every year to get away from the snow in Canada. We have rented houses in different areas of Scottsdale for 8 years, each May, all high end homes ( 300$-400$ a day). Each time, we invite family down to visit and stay so we all get a vacation. This year we decided to stay on the other side of the city due to Activities we enjoy doing, being closer then in Scottsdale. To be 100% honest, our past years of renting have been unpleasant. We have experienced- Pictures of the house and furnishings not being as advertised, hidden expenses not in contract or even spoke about until after you leave, people coming into the home when we were not there snooping, being accused of causing old appliance failures and plumbing back ups( this turned out to be bacon grease from the owners stay prior to ours) and unreasonable requests like staying around the house for three straight days while workman do a air conditioner swap and re ducting( cleaning up their mess after) . I could go on and on. At Bill and Larisa's home, we experienced none of this. The arrival was smooth and we were given all the information we needed to run everything. Both Bill and Larisa reached out to answer any questions and made us feel right at home. The house is exactly as advertised and no hidden unwanted surprises. IE scorpions in the house ( yes, no kidding this did happen). The House is decorated beautifully and had many custom features. The beds were all comfortable as well as the furniture. You can comfortably sleep 3 couples in the 3 bedrooms and then a child in the study as the couch is very comfy in there. The Kitchen is well stocked and appliances are in great shape. Wifi and Cable work great (we did get an upgrade from Bill as we wanted to watch the Hockey playoffs, which Bill had done right away for the cost he incurred in changing his programming) The pool... Oh the Pool. Loved it. We used the pool like happy hour. No matter who was out and about, everyone returned by 2 to lay and play in the pool. It is very well maintained (cleaning system works awesome). There are pool floats there and Towel are well stocked. The back yard it beautiful (in the early morning, you can drink your coffee and watch all the birds). The neibourhood is great, clean and we felt safe the whole stay. No Crazy rules, like not parking on the pad in front of the house. We would stay here again and would recommend this house. Thank you Bill and Larisa

Outstanding Stay in the Foothills outside Phenix, AZ

421 W Mountain Sky Drive is a beautiful home with a relaxing pool and patio area that is exquisitely landscaped. The house furnishings are lovely and comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with all the cooking utensils that any TOP CHEF would ever need. Access to major highways are easy and close making driving to any location in the valley uncomplicated and easy. Finally, it is important to recognize the owners, Bill and Larrisa. They were easy to contact and promptly returned all our calls. The were kind, considerate and very dedicated to ensuring an outstanding stay. We were very impressed with all aspects of the stay. We are planning to re-book when returning to the area and highly reccomend this property.

Feels like home

This home is perfect in every way. Owners are beyond accessible and helpful. Location is wonderful. Pool area is as pretty as it gets. Only downside is the beautiful pool area is located next to Chandler Boulevard so traffic noise distracts from enjoying the back area to the fullest extent possible. The owner was very transparent about this before we came. We dealt with it by wearing noise canceling headphones. We live in a very quiet mountain home so for those used to it, the noise might not bother them as much. Overall, it was a really good experience and a great home for a Phoenix visit.

Home Away From Home

My wife and I have been spending most of our holidays in the Phoenix area since 2006. Most of our time was spent in the Mesa area. We felt like a change and were pleasantly surprised to find Bill and Larisa’s home available for the month of March, 2020. Working with them to make the arrangements was a pleasure as they were both very accommodating with our holiday and itinerary requests. The home was exceptional with plenty of spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The pool and beautiful landscaped back yard was a welcome amenity to the home and where our grandchildren spent many hours entertaining themselves. The kitchen and dining area was well equipped and a welcome sanctuary for home cooking as apposed to eating out every night. The views in the surrounding area were outstanding with the foothills within a short distance. My wife and I are both motorcycle enthusiasts so it was a perfect location as a home base for the month. Thank you Bill and Larisa for providing such a comfortable home to vacation in. We look forward to our return. Dave and Sandy

A beautiful home with wonderful hosts

Hard to believe that we are heading home to Ontario. The time flew. This is our second visit to Bill and Larisa's home here in Ahwatukee. You will not find more attentive hosts!! The home is nicely appointed and spacious. Everything you need to enjoy your stay including a great pool! The pool can be heated and you as the tenant are able to control the use of propane. The location is only about 20 minutes fro Sky Harbour however you are not on any flight patterns. Close to many good golf courses, shopping, Casino, and hiking. You are also only about 20 minutes from Downtown Chandler which boasts many great places to eat. Sad to be heading home.

Wonderful Property

This was our third visit to the valley of the sun. Previous years we stayed in the Estrella Mountain Park area. We wanted something closer to the city but not do close. Bill and Larissa's place in Ahwatukee is just perfect! Only about 15-20 minutes from the airport yet situated on the south side of South Mountain, you are isolated from the city noise. The property is outstanding! A beautiful home with a stunning backyard. Bill and Larissa are wonderful hosts and very responsive to questions. We are already booked for next year.

Fabulous accommodations

Perfect from any angle!

We were seeking a handicap accessible property close to all our favorite Valley locations and friends and this home was ideal. It's convenient location and 5-star accommodations gave us a great home base for day trips, hosting friends and enjoying the spectacular South Mountain and desert surroundings. Quail, doves, cactus wren and hummingbirds greeted us daily and we were regulars at Pomagranate, just down Chandler Boulevard, one of the healthiest restaurants in the region with a fun vibe and outdoor patio. Bill and Larissa anticipated every details for us as guests and were always just a phone call or email away. The master bedroom and backyard were our favorite spaces and the kitchen is a joy to cook in due to the wide open floor plan. Despite his blindness and need to use a wheelchair or walker, my husband was able to move freely through the the entire home due to the non-skid rugs and travertine floors. The shower handrail and seat were welcome amenities. We enjoyed doing business with Bill and Larissa and felt more like guests than customers in their magnificent home. Our hope is to come back at least once a year and maybe twice and we won't look any farther than this! Thanks so much for a delightful place for our first visit back since we moved away in 2013.
