JUST BRING YOUR SUNSCREEN AND SWIM CLOTHES! NO PETS OR SMOKING ALLOWED. KING IN MASTER, QUEEN AND A TWIN BUNK BED IN GUEST ROOM

Relaxing stay on a canal

This is a cute two bedroom two bath home. You do have to walk through one bedroom to get into the other, but this was not an issue for our family. The beds were comfortable. The showers were hot with great water pressure. The kitchen was stocked and easy to prepare meals. The location was perfect. We enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed our stay at Key Colony the villa was clean and tidy, there was quite a bit to do with in walking distance. We where out most days but had the mornings at the villa, plenty of sun and space to relaxe before heading out at miday.

Property was just as advertised. Easy walk to restaurants, cabana club, and to beautiful Sunset Park. Very clean. Nice outdoor area. Kitchen had everything needed for a weekly stay.

Great location and the house was spotless.

Couldn’t have gone any better ! We rented a boat for the week and kept it at the house. We had great fishing and even better snorkeling close by. We saw dolphins and we had manatees right in front of the house. It was just a great vacation altogether. We loved the house .

Great location!

Our family had a nice time staying here. Being able to have the boat on the lift and go out when we wanted was awesome. The location was great too. The bait freezer and ice machine were a definite plus! You do have to walk through the spare bedroom to get to the master, but that wasn’t an issue for us as we were traveling with our kids. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would consider this location again on our next trip to the keys.

Another great stay here!

This was our second stay at this property and this time for 10 nights. Once again it did not disappoint. We will be back. From the charm of this 2/2, to the boat lift, outside shower, ice machine, boat trailer parking, everything....it’s great for our family of four.

August 3rd thru 13 vrbo rental

The two bedroom home was in excellent condition. It was clean & the boatlift worked properly. We enjoyed our stay very much and I wrote a letter both to the owners and to the realtor regarding my gratitude. I hope my letter gets to them. I would write this a five star stay. It was clean but it was not at a high upscale property. It met all my expectations and then some. Katie, the property manager, was excellent in responding to my request. I would most certainly stay there again.

We stay here as often as we can when traveling to the keys. The house is clean and has everything we could need for a comfortable stay including a lift to keep our boat clean. We will be back again!

The communication from the start was quick easy and responsive. The directions and access was super easy. The house, patio and dock was very clean and very well set up. It was myself and my 2 boys 12 and 16 and everything was set up perfectly for all ages. I have already recommended this property to multiple people and will recommend to even more. If I come back to Marathon I will definitely stay here again.

Something for everyone

This house was perfect for our family of 4! We could fish or paddle board in the canal behind the house. My kids were safe riding bikes around Key colony on their own. The cabana club access was awesome for non ocean days. There were multiple restaurants that were amazing close by, and marathon offered a variety of activities that we all enjoyed. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you!!

Wonderful!

We enjoyed spring break at this Key Colony property! It was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed walking to the Cabana Club and to Sunset Park every evening. My kids played basketball and played at the park on the back end of the golf course (just across the street). It is a short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. We are in love with the little community of Key Colony and will be back.

Key Colony Beach was a wonderful location for our first time in the keys. The Cabana Club was very nice and all of the people we met were very friendly. Sunset beach was fun! We also enjoyed Sombrero Beach and took a drive down to Key West for a day.

Summer Vacation at Key Colony

The property was extremely clean. Easy access to the property in a great location. Wish I had my boat with me to enjoy the amenities even more. We got to see the manatees visit the canal several times, fished of the dock and caught a small barracuda and baby nurse shark. The Cabana Club was very nice, drinks were great, but definitely get there early to get some shade if someone in your crew needs it. The beds were amazing! Slept better here then I do on my own bed. I did cheat and see what type beds you have so I can purchase one for home. Only downside was I hauled my kayak down and the dock didn't have a ladder so I couldn't put it in at the house. Having access to laundry was amazing so all clothes were washed before leaving for home so one less hastle of returning home.

WE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE KEYS. THE FISHING, SNORKELING, SCUBA DIVING,THE PEOPLE, ETC. KEY COLONY BEACH WAS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR US BECAUSE IT HAD SO MUCH TO DO WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE! THE YOUNGER KIDS GO TO THE BASKETBALL COURT OR DOG PARK, THE OLDER KIDS PLAY GOLF OR GO FISHING AND WE ALL LIKE TO GO TO THE CABANA CLUB TO SWIM IN THE CHILLED/HEATED POOL OR JUST SIT ON THE BEACH.

I have been coming to the Keys for 35years and I wanted a house that was on the water, was in a secure location (Key Colony Beach has only one road in & out with its own police force) where we could walk to restaurants, stores, entertainment, Cabana Club, Sunset Beach, etc.
