Escape to the serene beachfront oasis of our 8-bedroom custom-built luxury cabin in Leavenworth. Nestled along the beautiful Wenatchee River, this property offers a truly idyllic retreat. Located 2 miles from the fabulous Bavarian themed town of Leavenworth. Wineries, dining, hiking, rafting, golfing, skiing 30-45 minutes away. Mission Ridge/ Stevens Pass.

Gather into this 9000 sf custom log home. Main floor includes 3 ensuite bedrooms with laundry adjacent. Old Hickory furnished living room with soaring rock gas fireplace. Baby Grand Piano in entry. kitchen with bar seating surrounding it, incredible coffee bar, dining room overlooking river, game room with fireplace, pool table, games/puzzle table, giant wall Scrabble, Golden Tee, assorted board games and our fabulous River Pub bar. All spaces furnished with your comfort in mind.

Upstairs you will find our 9-seat movie theater, children's library, general library with fireplace and 5 additional bedrooms. Including the Grand Suite with private balcony seating.

Outside you will roam the 3300 sf wrap around deck with views of the river, Tumwater Mountain, your private golf green and adjacent working pear orchard among the 3 acres of space. Your private sandy beach in the summer months is located off back deck with plenty of chairs for your relaxation.
The river deck seating area is everyone's favorite spot on the property with heaters above for snowy days or cool nights - overlooks the river for continual relaxation. Also 2 steel log gas fire pits for your enjoyment.

Outdoor dining tables for 16 overlooking river as well as a bar overlooking the beach and river. Endless seating options. Hot tub has river views and Tumwater Mountain views as well. Gas BBQ and Traeger Smoker.

Sonos music system inside/outside - download app and play your favorites. TV's in every bedroom as well as game room.

Our home away from home for our annual friends reunion going 15 years strong. Everyone looks forward to this beautiful property. It is spacious yet cozy. Incomparable to anything that can accommodate 16 in the area.

This place exceeded expectations and that is coming from 16 people unanimously! Absolutely fantastic. Immaculately appointed and the pictures fail to do it justice. If there’s an award for Best Host Barbara Knapp would win hands down.We celebrated our 50 th wedding anniversary 2 years ago at the Grand, so when our son announced that he was getting married we immediately contacted Barb and booked the Grand..Our friends who attended were in awe of the beauty and details to the decor of the home and the details to the landscape and areas around the home.The addition of the coffee bar since our last stay just added more ambiance and charm to the kitchen area. A coffee lovers paradise.The photographers were overwhelmed with the abundance of beautiful background photo opportunities. They didn’t want to leave.Brochure pictures don’t do justice to the beauty and elegance of the interior of the home. Work Retreat done right

Wonderful lodge for our group for annual management meeting. The attributes of the property are too many to mention and all are first class and beautifully maintained. Common rooms are awesome. You could be at a resort in Aspen or Dear Valley Kitchen has everything We hope to come back n cut year

Family Gathering

What a perfect place to gather our whole family! The lodge is beautiful and spacious and so much care has gone into all the details. The river is picturesque and the property is expansive with so many activities and places to gather. We had fun going into town, floating down the river, taking the kids horseback riding, and exploring the area, but the Grand River Lodge is what made this trip truly special. We hope to return.

Natures Paradise

To sum up this place in words is simply impossible. It’s so much more than the written language could possible express. You can feel God’s presence in this place from the moment you arrive. We came to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and to renew our vows in faith, as we weren’t previously married in faith but simply by law. How I came across the location was our first “God Wink” as the Hostess Barbra would say. To be completely honest… our entire trip was one that you can’t come about unless to say it was blessed! And for so many reasons. Our children has the most magical time exploring this wonderland and so did the parents! We CAN’T WAIT to come back. There are no photos to do this location justice! And the Hostess is simply put an ANGEL on earth.

Grand vacation at The Grand Lodge

wonderful amenities, well appointed, superb quality, generous spaces. if I try to think of something that could be improved it would be a deeper portion of the river pool that is damned with rocks. It was very hot so it would have been nice to have a dipping area. Plus i think we infringed on 2 water snakes that were in the grass at the waters edge

Absolutely Gorgeous

There is so much to do on this property. Huge decks, right in the river, pitch and putt course… you almost can’t get to it all. The grounds were in immaculate condition and the interior is very well thought out and well stocked. Just about a 5 min drive to the Safeway and the edge of downtown. We had a great time.

40th Birthday for a friend

To say this property is amazing, would be an understatement. The picture on the VRBO do not give this beautiful property justice. Everything was top of the line. Everything was thought of. I've rented out a few 6,000 sqft property around the US, and I believe this property takes the cake. I've already told my wife about this property and I definitely coming back with the wife and kids.

A surprise party for my parents 58th wedding anniversary and my Dad's 80th. The property is beyond stunning. Aunts played Yahtzee, we cooked a prime rib dinner, watched football, went in the hot tub, went to town for October fest. Safeway is about a mile down the road. It is difficult to find the words to describe this beautiful home in the most beautiful setting. This home has everything you would ever need. This was a very special place. Family Trip 2022

The house was absolutely wonderful for our family of 12 on our trip to Leavenworth. There isn't anything that you could wish for in the house that isn't there. The lodge had more than enough space for everyone, and we all enjoyed being able to use all of the amazing amenities offered. If you want to live like royalty for a trip, then you should definitely book the Grand River Lodge! We had so much fun on our trip exploring the town, being adventurous and just enjoying this fantastic home, and we would love to one day come back!

Family Labor Day Vacation😎

We are so grateful to God and Barbara and Dennis for providing this amazing family vacation. We had a ball in our own spacious, beautiful lodge on the Wenatchee River. Our 3 families ages 12-80, enjoyed watching floaters coming down the river, playing volleyball, basketball and golf outside to playing pool, board games and watching a movie in the theater room inside. Special time reading in the hammocks, on the beach and the deck. Cooking and baking Family meals and enjoying dining outside on the deck and inside. We look forward to a return visit! It was a fantastic family vacation and such a blessing to our family. Thank you again Barbara and Dennis for sharing a paradise on earth. Literally Heaven on Earth

We just had the most incredible stay at The Grand River Lodge to celebrate our parents’ 50th Anniversary. Typically, you see great pictures of the home, only to get there in-person to find it’s nowhere near a nice as the photos depict. Well, this is not the case here. There simply are not enough words to say how beautiful this property is. The home itself is spectacular in every way, richly furnished and thoughtfully appointed! We really appreciated Barb’s attention to all of the smallest details - it’s safe to say, “if you want or need it, it’s there somewhere!” The grounds are immaculate over the entire property with so many fun spots to sit and have conversations, and the Knapps provide all of the outdoor games you could ever want to entertain guests of all ages, even a Single Hole, Par 3 Course (which my Dad loved!) The kitchen is incredible, fully-stocked with literally every utensil/appliance you might ever possibly need, as well as an awesome bar in the game room complete with a Kegerator, wine fridge and even its own small dishwasher! I really could go on and on for an hour about the bedrooms, theatre room and everything else, but you’ll just have to go see for yourself. Our very favorite spot was the back River deck listening to the Wenatchee River! If you’re looking for a beautiful home to make some amazing memories, this is the place! Thank you Barb and Dennis for sharing your amazing home with us! We feel so blessed!

The most incredible gathering place we have ever been. When we first drove up to the lodge we were impressed by her presence, but after entering we fell head over heels with how truly grand she is. The biggest surprise was opening the back door to find the roar of the Wenatchee river and we were hooked! Everything about this home is truly GRAND!
We have installed a private putting/chipping green on the front lawn! Bring your wedges and putters and sharpen your skills on your private green! As you sink in to The Grand you will soon discover that this is a 5 star home with a 5 star property. In the summer months the private sandy beach offers relaxation while enjoying the beautiful river. The outdoor decks offer endless seating for viewing the river including a custom concrete bar with a built in ice channel to place your beverage bottles while enjoying the river. The heated covered deck has 2 large sofas 2 cushioned chairs and coffee tables. This is THE spot morning noon and night. We could go on and on but we will leave some of the joy for you to discover.
